I tried the recipe this evening and the soy garlic was amazing! The crunch on the chicken was perfection. It tasted just like Bonchon and Kyochon! Now I have to try the spicy flavor. Thank you so much for sharing! 😊
If the chef that's giving the recipe is not a mother looking type chef then I'm not going to try it. but this woman here is absolutely amazing, you know the food is great when they looked like they raised there kids and is retired. thank you chef your truly amazing you got a new subscriber 😊

Love how you slammed down that radish with authority. Your food looks pro-level and thank-you so much for all the detailed information and the great presentation on how to make delicious Korean fried chicken. Subscribed.
oh my god, after trying so many korean fried chicken recipes, this is the best one. the batter is so crispy and light, just like the restaurants. trust me, i've tried so many recipes and they were never as close as this one. i used the flour mixture instead of the frying mix btw, and it turned out amazing. this recipe is a keeper, i'm never looking for another one!
@@koreanbapsang6835 Of course, this recipe deserves all the praise!! I'm actually making it again for my family for tomorrow's dinner, they love it so much!
I just made this and OMG!!! Tasted just like Kyochon that I have tasted back in Malaysia 😱 My American husband love it!! Thanks for the wonderful recipe
I just tried it out with the red hot sauce. Delicious and super crispy! The key is the batter recipe. I habe tried other recipes before from another channel. Was not near as good as this here. Thank´s for that.
This is just what I was looking for, crispy fried chicken wings! I look forward to making this dish! Thank you so much! I love your tutorials! You are the best! ❤❤❤
I made this fried wings this morning for my son’s lunch. It is amazing! Crispy and flavorful. Thank you for sharing this recipe and your detailed instructions, which is really helpful.
I tried Bonchon for the first time a few months back & I absolutely loved the Soy Garlic flavored wings so much I had to find a recipe. I found yours & it’s delicious. When I have guest come over it’s definitely a favorite! Thank you so much 😊
Her English is good for the simple reason that she obviously has been residing in the USA for quite a while now. The beer she serves here is a micro brew from Alexandria, Virginia.
As noted in the description, you can find that if you click on the full recipe link provided. But, here it is: all-purpose flour with 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and optional 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or onion powder.
I'm very new to Korean cooking and bought some gochujang paste today to try and cook with it myself. I can't eat too spicy so how much can I use for this recipe as a starting point. 1 and half tbs might be a little too much how about half that? I've only eaten Korean fried cauliflower and it was delicious, slightly sweet and spicy. Thanks
The sauce is not that spicy, but sure you can reduce to a half. You'll probably need to add a little more soy sauce to make up for the saltiness part of the gochujang.
@@koreanbapsang6835 Thank you so much for advice, will start with half teaspoon for 400gms chicken and add more as required and will add extra soy sauce as you suggest. Mine says hot on on packaging. Best from Scotland.🙂
I was wondering how the hell people in Korea made their wet batter for their fried chicken. Too many people make the recipes with KFC dry batter. Your recipe gave me an enlightening. Definitely will this soon.
So what do I do with the leftover spicy and soy garlic sauce? Can you wrap up and save it to use next time? If so, about how long would you suggest the sauce will last until before making a new batch?
Yes you can save up! I haven't tested shelf life beyond 2 to 3 weeks, but it should last for a good while. You can also glaze the pan-fried tofu, fried popcorn shrimp, etc.
@koreanbapsang6835 i already tried it with your recipe yesterday. since I've been experimenting with other blogs and video with different measurement and ingredients, and yours turns out like kyochon from where I came from! For my small oven, 200°c for 15 - 20 min just eyeballing the skin crunchiness. I really love your KFC recipe and will just use your KFC recipe from now on 🥰🥰🥰💗💗💗 thank you!! I can save a lot than buy a takeout every weekend! love from Malaysia 🇲🇾 🌺💖

Thank you for this recipe. My mom thought it was from a restaurant.

This is so delicious but there’s a certain way to make it a question is how do you fry it that way it’s always been a problem
Hope this video helps!
Oh wow, this looks so so good 😍 Love Chimaek!! 🍗🍻
Thank you 😋
Looks so delicious 😮❤just wondering does fast food takaways do the same or they pre cooked, freeze and then recook again?
Not sure, but my guess is that they prepare chicken ahead of time and then fry them fresh.
Hello 👋 looks so delicious 😋 chicken crisp 😋 thank you 🇰🇷😀🌎✌✌✌

done
Can I substitute rice vinegar in the place of rice wine?
You're the best!
aww thank you!!!
Picke radish
1 pound of radish
Cup water
1/3 cup of sugar
1/3 cup vinegar
1/4 teaspoon salt
I have my measurements in the description section of this video. I used 1/2 teaspoon salt but less is okay depending on your salt.
thank you! I am also Korean :) do you take the temperature of the chicken? Does it have to be at 165 F after the first or second fry?
I don't. After double frying, these small pieces of chicken are completely cooked through. But you can if you want after the second frying.
@@koreanbapsang6835 thank you!
i love the spicy 🌶️
so good!
Is there another oil to use? Or is vegetable oil the typical ?
You can use any cooking oil with a high smoking point, such as avocado oil, canola oil, corn oil, and peanut oil.
Ok thank you! Now I need to find one of those pans ❤
Can we put the chicken in the air fryer or oven for the second time frying?
It may not be as crunchy but I'm sure you can. I haven't tried it.

Hi may i know the other alternative for mirin or rice wine? Thanks!
You can use white wine or just add more water.
What I need is these powder stuff that they sprinkle on the fried chicken.
... this* powdered* stuff
Nice
Thanks!
Thank you from new fan.
