  • This walk takes in two of the Munros that are located around Coire Lagan.
    Sgurr Dearg (The Inaccessible Pinnacle) and Sgurr Mhic Choinnich. A great day with stunning weather and big thanks to Daniel Moss, our guide for the day, who looked after us extremely well and was accompanied by Adrian Treble. Dan is part of the team at www.skyeguides.co.uk/
    A group of professional guides that I have no problem in recommending to anyone looking for highest standards and attention to client safety.

    Awe-inspiring. The images are so clear. You both appear to be the picture of calmness on the way up some of these rocky inclines. Amazing video yet again. Thanks! Murdo

      Hi Murdo, It wasn't calmness it was fear 😂 Skye certainly asks different questions to the normal walking in Scotland. Cheers, Charlie.

    Hi Charlie, I’ve watched a few of your videos over the past while and came across the Cullin series this evening and realised that we were in Skye at exact the same time. In fact that’s me abseiling off the The Inn Pinn at 1:21.
    I have a couple of photos of your party that I took from the top of the Inn Pin, I thought those jackets looked familiar!
    It was a week of fantastic weather we had.
    Great videos you make, I always enjoy them, cheers.

      Hi Terry, Just catching up with some comments... we had a terrific few days on the ridge. I've a couple of clips from us coming up to the Inn Inn. I'll take a look and see if they may interest you. Cheers, Charlie

      Hi Robert, Skye certainly isn't our normal hillwalking adventure but its terrific fun. We were lucky that our days were clear and warm to get the full experience. It must be sh*t if you make the effort and don't see the ridge in all its glory. Many thanks for taking a look. Cheers, Charlie

    太棒了!这是黑库林山区最美的一段景观。很少有人能够到达。佩服你们的勇气与技巧。That's great! This is the most beautiful part of the Black Cullin Mountains. Few people can reach it. I admire your courage and skill.

    Hi Charlie brilliant again👍 your footage is spot on, the IP looked very atmospheric. We did the 2 munros in the opposite direction on the Monday and got super conditions. I was shaking like a leaf on the IP, but strangely still enjoyed it🤣🤣 you certainly need a guide for these munros,
    Really enjoyed that Charlie & Mike.👍👍

      Frank, The IP is just different to our normal stuff and I don't think I've ever done it without nerves at the start but they settle once your hands are on the rock. A guide on Skye is a must if you're hoping to get the most from the ridge particularly if the clag is down. No issues with route finding and having a rope handy for the awkward bits is always a comfort. Great week... Cheers Charlie

    Great video Charlie, I wish I’d filmed when I climbed Sgurr Dearg & the Inn Pin but I was far to nervous! Maybe next time. 😳Great to watch your footage, well done! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

      Hi Linda, We've been up the IP a few times now and its always a bit nervy until you get started. The rest of the ridge is fine but this beast is just totally different to our normal stuff. Thanks for taking a look. Cheers, Charlie

    Great video and the sounds of the scree, what a special place. Bet you had a spring in your step once the Inc Pin had been done. We nearly missed the ledge to the left when heading to Mhic Choinnich on the steepening scree slope, too busy talking than naving. Heard voices above and realised the error:)

    • @charliemccartney7055
      @charliemccartney7055  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Rich, Things are definitely easier when the tops are clear but everything starts looking the same when the clag is down which can be a bit scary on an unfimiliar ridge. Always great getting the IP behind you 😂 Cheers, Charlie

      Hi Alan, Yes, Skye is a bit different to the rest of Scotland and a head for heights is certainly required. Still enjoyable for a frequent visit. Cheers, Charlie.👍

    Another fantastic video, thank you. I can see why the ‘In Pin’ is a special day. Bravo to you both. Again the views you captured were stunning. Polite questions, the third member of the party, was that a friend or guide? If a guide, presumably you would recommend them? Also, could not help noticing either yourself Charlie or your brother Mike, was wearing Scarpa footwear. Are they your normal walking boots, or chosen specially for Skye. Again a fantastic video, thank you.

    • @charliemccartney7055
      @charliemccartney7055  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Jonathan, Our third member was our guide and we wouldn't consider doing it without one now. Mike enjoys wearing the Scarpa boots which are a bit stiffer than most wear during the summer but this type of boot is ideal for Skye or any rough, steep walking. Not everyones choice but we've got used to wearing them throughout the year. Cheers, Charlie

      Hi Alistair, In our youth we just bashed on but now older and wiser we always opt for a guide particularly if the weather is iffy. Cheers, Charlie.
