I work in a Assisted living facility. My sister asked me have I done a junk journal. I never heard of it. Now I'm excited to start this with my residents. Your videos are very helpful.

Hello from the USA! I typically do not comment on TH-cam videos but, I feel compelled to tell you how much you have been an inspiration & guiding light in my world. I cannot adequately express how much I admire you & the abundance of motivation I have found in your tutorials - you have picked me up & helped me get out of many of those dreaded creative “blocks” that we all find ourselves in, at some point or another.
Thank you so much for all of the above & so much more... I shall forever be a devoted follower of you & your amazingly BEAUTIFUL work! 🖤

I totally agree, about Natasha helping us to get out of a creator's block. That is how I found Treasure Books, looking for things to do with security envelopes. I read someone on another channel had found inspiration here, and so I looked. I still follow the other channel, also. They help me when my mojo goes absent.
      Also from the US.

I am a bit confused about the embellishments. When you open the front cover, am I correct that anything like words need to read like any book. For the backside of that 1st fold, do the embellishments need to be upside down (like words)? You mentioned early on to separate the flaps/flags into two piles. If you turn the book upside down and open it, the back side of the accordian would read like a book. Am I overthinking this? Seriously, I AM confused! Help!

for the Flag Book ---- have you added blank pages between each of the accordian folds ? Gives writing space for someone to journal ? Add blank pages and then put lace on paper which is attaching to the valley fold of the book ? Would end up separating writing space from the embellished accordians.

What size needle do you use on your machine for sewing the paper . I just love how this looks .

Hi Jen, I am so sewing machine illiterate, that I have no clue about the sizes. Just using the standard one that came with my machine 😊. Sorry, not much help there...
