I’ve been in the hobby a year and a half. Flown lots of prop planes but never an EDF jet. Bought the E-Flite Viper BNF first but hesitated to fly it. Then decided to buy this one to fly first. The Arrows RC Marlin has been an amazing first EDF jet for me and I’m still learning on it and practicing with it but I know it’s helping to give me the confidence I need so that I succeed with the Viper next!
Very simulator to the FMS Banshee 64mm EDF . Nice Jet. I own and fly the Banshee . Reverse thrust is a nice feature when you come in too hot

Good flying little jet
The Marlin was my first EDF and it's a blast to fly... speeds up and slows down easily and inspires confidence in EDF flying. Removed the landing gear to make it a hand launch/grass field belly lander.
Think that is better, because he bumps a little bit when landing
Great plane such good value. Cheep batteries has flaps perfect first JET👍🇬🇧🛫✈️🚁🛩️🛬♥️🎄

@@aragorn318 From 2200 to 3700mah all of them works fine. Use all of them. Look for a Good c rate
5 1/2 minutes on 3000 4s pack, way to go! Just bought one.

Would you recommend it as a first jet ?
I was thinking about using a Spectrum AR 636 DSMX AS3x receiver , is this possible without reprogramming? or is it useless with this jet because very docile apparently!

Yes! Definitely a great first jet. It has very good flying characteristics & flys well on a 4s pack:) It is also very inexpensive!

@@RCINFORMER In a different order of price , there is also the Havoc XE 80 mm from E-flite in bnf .
Could it also be suitable as a first jet in bnf?
