    Great review, very cool little bird, thanks for showing the vector setup, seems pretty simple. Give Bobby a raise, he does a great job on the camera......

    Nice review. Thanks for adding the radio setup at the end of the video. I'm new to Spektrum and it is very useful to see how it's done on the NX10.

    Great flight with this little 50 Hawk, Ryan. Bobby, nice work.
    These Arrows 50's are great.
    I hope that they produce a
    F-22, or even better, a L-39!!
    These are kinda like too much alcohol....you can just up-chuck one and go flying before you hit the ground!!🤣😉
    AirHammer out...

    That must have been a NAVY BALLISTIC throw! Lol.
    Launched like a shipborne missile!
    Yup, SAFE style stabilization keeps from being over-controlled, once you learn how to fine tune it it is a heck of a capable tool!
    Beautiful little plane!

    Im considering this one, well the t-33 i think. I don't have any 3s edf"s, this one looks like a ripper, And you can use the 4chl. spektrum AR410 rx for like 35 bucks, your in it well under $200. Nice Ryan

  • @thomassawchuk9668
    @thomassawchuk9668 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Thanks for all of the reviews and videos Ryan and Bobby! Great work.
    You have now flown all three of the 50mm Arrows mini EDFs. Which of the three would you say is best for a smaller flying area…about the size of two soccer fields.

    • @PilotRyanMedia
      @PilotRyanMedia  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They seem all three to slow down very well. Bae and Viper maybe the better slow flyers

    Is there a way to adjust the Vector to get more 'angle demand' on the ailerons and elevator when in the 'safe' mode?

    Is this runs well on a 2200 4S.. I’ll buy one. Have a ton of those batteries

    • @gavinwilkins5466
      @gavinwilkins5466 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes it does 4s 2200 is great it's a rocket and U get about 6 min of full power

    • @PilotRyanMedia
      @PilotRyanMedia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The esc says it’s rated for 4s so let her rip

    • @gavinwilkins5466
      @gavinwilkins5466 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've been using mine on 4s since I got it run the battery all way back in the bay It CG about 65 mm it flys great like that just up the elevator throw a little to compensate I promise you will be blown away with how good it is unlimited vertical and about 80 mph witch is blistering for the size of jet

    • @snoriverrc3842
      @snoriverrc3842 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I cant get anywhere close to the CG with a 2200 on my Viper, this must be different.

  • @mickydee6550

    Hey Ryan, which of these 50MM jets do you like best and why? Hawk, T-33, or the Viper? Thanks!

    • @PilotRyanMedia
      @PilotRyanMedia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tough call. The t33 is so unique, flies like a plane. Bae flies like a sport jet, super predictable and versatile. Tough call for sure

  • @ericwetzel1063
    @ericwetzel1063 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Why a 2200 3s? That's almost double the specified lipo weight. Have you tried it with a 1300 yet? You can thank me later.

    • @iceberg_4o487
      @iceberg_4o487 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      (Don’t have plane, just watched hours worth of vids on this plane) With a 1300 you have to go as far forward in the battery bay and it’s only at the rear limit, with the 2200 you can get anywhere in the cg range, and the flight time is the bonus

  • @crashkorey
    @crashkorey 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Put a 4S in there and it'll take off right from your hand. I'll never put another 3s in that bird. Make such a difference without any changes to the ESC or anything

    • @PilotRyanMedia

    I just got one from Hobby Zone a couple days ago as my first ducted fan. Right out of the box, the fan blades are rubbing on the fan housing (circular duct). I can see scuff marks where it must have been tested at the factory. I sent e-mail to Hobby Zone but haven't received a reply. If I run it like this, I think the blades will melt in short order. What should I do? Thanks for sharing another great video!

    • @snoriverrc3842
      @snoriverrc3842 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hobbyzone is usually very responsive to problems. I'd bet they send you a new plane immediately

    • @PilotRyanMedia
      @PilotRyanMedia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Have you run it? Does it make a bad noise? If so definitely stay in contact with HobbyZone

    • @jwoodyr1
      @jwoodyr1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PilotRyanMedia Thanks for the reply. No, I haven't run it. I turned the rotor with my finger and the blades rub the duct. I bet it will make a terrible noise and maybe melt the blades.
