    I am suffering since 15 years from eczema. Recently i disciplined myself and stopped having : sugar, wheat and dairy. I see a change for better which means I do still have some itching but cant compare with before. I recommend it!

      Sorry to hear that you have eczema. The challenge is that eczema is a multifactorial condition, it is not a skin disorder that has one solution as there are a variety of causes and imbalances that promote eczema. That's why I put this video together to educate others on understanding there isn't one way to fix it. Check out my eczema ebook if you want to learn more about how to heal it naturally as prescription drugs not only harm the skin by thinning it, they do not address the root cause. Hope that helps :)

    Flax seeds and chia seeds are the best sources of omega 3. There are also studies, showing that the more omega 6 consumed, the less omega 3 absorbed.

    Hi Joyous! I need help I really hope you see this!! I have had eczema mostly all my life I'm a 14 year old female nd my eczema has gotten better its not bad like when I was younger. When I was little my parents gave me a cream that actually gave me skin discoloration. that happened over time of me getting older. It helped my itching. But my skin isn't the same in these spots the discoloration and just the texture in general is off Its a big insecurity I have. My eczema is just on my hands and wrist a bit and then the creases of my arms and back of my elbows. I am going to try and change my diet to see if it helps but I just don't know what to do about my discoloration. Please tell me if there is anything I can do to not have that anymore.

    Hi struggled with Eczema as a kid, haven’t had a flare up in some time, but at the start of the pandemic hand sanitizer is what caused my recent flare up on my hand… still struggling with it a year and a half later

    • @joyoushealth
      @joyoushealth  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's the worst! I get a break out on my hands too if I'm not diligent with reapplying body butter right away. The sanitizers strip away your natural oil barrier and the skin microbiome which also supports the moisture barrier so it's really a recipe for eczema.

      @@michelinemontfleury3516 hey! Sorry you are still struggling with it. It can be maddening that’s for sure. My eczema has been cleared up for awhile now. I’m no doctor, but If I could recommend a product I would recommend Advanced TRS toxin and contaminate removal support. My wife swore by it. I was a little hesitant cuz i literally tried everything with no results, but I gave it a go and was amazed. I used the spray orally and used Skin Food lotion topically and within a month or so I saw results. This was after months of using steroidal cream that I was prescribed by the doctor. Anyways the TRS spray seemed to really worked for me and could be something you might look into if you’re interested

    I used neem (soles of my feet and hands & fingers). I made an oil, soaking the powder in an oil (olive, sunflower,grapeseed). I also used the neem soap. It's been a few years, not a sign of eczema on me.

      @Laura-nl8df 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @mrmoodymusa7629 I couldn't find neem oil at the time, so I made my own. I read that neem had antibacterial properties. I already tried many other rx type products, it made my skin raw & discolored. So I soaked the powder in the oil, shook/stirred daily. The color tints a bit. I would use that oil regularly all day. The sludge left in the container, I used that too. It's like mud at that point. I'd wear socks on my hands & feet to bed. I was cracked and bleeding before all that. I eventually found neem soap. The only other thing I was doing at the time was regular fasting, daily fasting. Trying to clean myself out. I haven't seen a speckle in years. I bought the neem powder on Amazon. Any carrier oil will do. I hope it works for you.

      Sorry to hear you're little one is going through this and I wish I could help. Do you have him on a probiotic? This is really key. I would suggest hiring a Naturopathic Doctor in Germany who can help you. Not sure what city you live in, but go to your nearest health or natural foods store and they will likely have probiotics there. Good luck :)

    What yr recommended approach to a competitive distance runner who runs 12K daily? I keep hearing that sweat is bad. However living in Houston it's not possible to avoid.
    Also----running outside: suncreen(????)

      Sweat contains salts (as you likely know) and they can be very irritating to eczema because of the skin barrier function is compromised. Using a really thick and rich body butter on the affected areas can help support the skin barrier function. I just finished an integrative derm course all on eczema and research shows that moisturizing 3x per day for 3 weeks (super consistent) helps support the barrier function and can help heal eczema. This is one of the most effective methods. Do you have a natural zinc-based sunscreen you can use? Zinc is also very healing to the skin which may also help your skin. Sorry to hear you're suffering. I hope my tips help. If you need a reco on body butter let me know :)

    I have used a product made by Forces of Nature for eczema on my baby and it clears a outbreak in a few days. Because the vile of it is so small and expensive, I mix it with neem and jojoba oil to stretch the product. You can see the immediate relief he gets when it's rubbed in the areas he has a flare up.

    • @MissLalove123
      @MissLalove123 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@coang2404 There is hope… finally mine has disappeared on my face. However, I wish I could narrow it down to one thing/product that helped. But I’m really not sure because I used multiple things. Where I live it can get cold and dry, so I use a humidifier in my bedroom, occasionally run an air purifier as well. Those things I’d suggest. As far as products go… I try to find things with none of those big word ingredient names that you can’t pronounce. A lot of soap bars like oatmeal…I’ve heard coconut is good too(for myself personally, I found I have developed an allergy to coconut so I can’t use it), I’ve also found Neem and turmeric soap bars to help, honey, baby dove for sensitive/eczema prone skin, shea butter I’ve tried, petroleum jelly I’ve used, oatmeal lotions, one was aveeno, I’ve also used eczema honey products, tallow balms from grass fed cows, at one point I did try free and clear products, I used to use cerave products too for a while, lavender soap bars(those handmade ones you buy at farmers markets or people make at home), also be careful of what you’re using to wash your hair too. Check what’s in your shampoos and conditioners. It’s important to have allergy tests done at your dermatologist office if you can, they can do patch testing. I remember even having to stay fully aware and alert of keeping my body temp. Normal. If I sweat, that was it…I began itching. Do what you can not to scratch. If you have to sit on your hands do it, distract yourself, and keep your nails short and just lightly rub with your fingers if you need to relieve an itch. I also tried watching certain things I ate. I tried to stay away from heavy pastas and had more veggies and fruits too. I cut back on caffeine…coffee especially for myself. If you live near salt water I think that helped me. I don’t live near the ocean, it’s about an hour in a half from me or closer to 2, but my family owns a home in the south so I’d frequently try to be in the salt air and salt water and that helped me. It dries it right up. So maybe Himalayan salt baths may help. One time I tried one of those salt cave places in a spa. But like I said, I’m sorry I can’t give you a definitive answer or exact product I used, I tried everything under the sun, even would try to dress lightly as to not sweat(and I’m not even a big person lol, I just work in the medical field and for a while especially during the pandemic had to wear layers on top of scrubs and the mask made me sweat more.) In bed, I’d also avoid heavy blankets. Btw, I am sorry this is so long… I just realize how much eczema sucks because I know I had to deal with it for so long, so I really just want to let you know of anything I can, and wanted you to know all the different things I’ve tried in hopes that maybe one of those things might be a positive game changer for you. Also, try to keep your stress levels down… and during allergy season I’d take antihistamines to try to alleviate the itchiness. That’s all I got for now. I really wish you the best and hope the eczema ends for you too. I think it will, but you just have to be strict and discipline yourself. It’s hard to not scratch that itch, but like I said, maybe lightly rub with your fingers instead of using your nails. Sometimes I remember even lightly tapping my forehead(which was where mine was), instead of digging in scratching. Hope this helps at least a little! 🙏👍
