the coding you've shown on here is different to the coding in the book. code line 12 in the book says "boolean" which isn't recognised when i type it in but "bool" is recognised. try that out instead, if you've came here for the same reason

If I press the button then the servo motor makes a turn, red LED turns on. Once I release the button, the servo turns back and green LED lights. It won't stay in the red position. And knocking does nothing at all.

The switch does is not work as described in the layout, connect pin two to the resister side of the switch and you'll be good
