Using the irremote library, an IR receiver and an IR LED is also a good option if you want to automate remotes with arduino without taking the remote apart. It's also quite beginner friendly.
Whilst a nifty project, I can’t help but think that given you’ve got an IR remote, an IR ‘hack’ would be preferable in so many ways. Keep up the good work!
@@2000jago I'm in the middle. This wasn't hard but I have no idea what an Infrared hack is. The difference between you and those "noobs" in the comments is that you know something that they don't. Not that you are inherently smarter. Stop being such a gatekeeper. @Marcel did you mean using the Arduino so that it directly uses the remote to send signals, completely side stepping the buttons and their wires (read: traces)? From 2000IQgo above, I got the feeling this would also involve sending certain signals at certain times (probably so they match up to what the remote normally sends. Perhaps this would also require some sort of IR reader to determine the correct signals and timing if not documented by the manufacturer of the device? All of these projects are meant to be used with the Arduino starter kit and unfortunately it doesn't actually contain an IR remote, this was just an example of something you could use that would demonstrate the optocoupler.
Arduino is everywhere weather it's space or earth. Even world's smallest satellite was arduino based. I love to work on arduino and raspberry pi projects.😋
awesome , the arduino is a great device which enable us make a different in our life and society , i can't express how i grateful of you , good channel continue👍
Why? Your tutorials are so bad If it accepts pilote, then read signal it sends, copy it and send it via Arduino - u'll still have normal remote.. and it will not look that bad Also opto isolation is not worth even adding in this project, just add resistor on the signal + line..

I recently did that
Looked for hours before falling and you video and learn the word "optocoupler"... :) Exactly what I was looking for.
Thank you very much.

Where can i take the book that you are talking about in this video !!!
amazing
Amazing
Can you please go in more detail,
Plzz
