Nichole me too! And who has all those big name brands!? Can you please do this with Phamacy or Supermarket brands as we all don’t have access to Givenchy etc!
Regardless I think it’s sad how people at school make you feel bad because of acne and most girls wear makeup just day to day just feel OKAY which is not so anyone dealing with this your beautiful it’s just what there saying everyone is pretty inside and out
😂 I hear ya!! I try all these tips on these videos and when I'm done I look in mirror and I'm like, uhh, I still see lines and cracks in my makeup, specially when I see my makeup job in the sunlight, it looks like a chicken been on my face scratching, to many cracks and crevices😭. Anyhoo, this lady doesn't even need makeup, she's pretty without it.
I love how she touches the fact that when we’re wearing makeup and people get close, it makes her self conscious. I feel the same way. And to hear her, someone who is a professional say the same. Made me feel comfortable
Exactly honestly I’m trying to get back into makeup but when I wear it I find myself more self conscious because I’m never sure if it actually looks good on my dry skin!
its always the gurls with the perfect skin talkin bout how good make up look meanwhile majority of us wear makeup to cover flaws but okay foundation only looks good if your skin is flawless IMO
Shaving my skin helps me a lot + exfoliating + vitamin A serum + moisturizing with almond oil + put in spray bottle 65%rose water 20%glycerin 10%lemon juice 5%vinegar shake it spray it before get to sleep as toner used it just in "evening" BTY my skin is dry
Am I the only one who gets hella depressed watching these. I wish I was this talented to make my face this amazing. I just can’t afford figuring out all these different colors to use. So stunning she is!!
Honestly I don't really like her tutorials it seems like she is the one who makes you feel depressed because she is like oh look at me Im so beautiful and a model and you guys suck! I can tell you to watch other makeup artists that give better advice and really it's ALL IN THE TECHNIQUE. YOUR BEAUTIFUL, KEEP SMILING
This is basically a get ready with me you did not include anything different other then "use less foundation"........ this does not work for ppl that have acne and alot of redness js!!!
I've been struggling with cakey makeup for ages and this is the video I needed to see. You're super gorgeous as well even without make up, I wish I had lovely tanned skin like you do 😣
Isabella Marie she didn’t do anything different other than used very little product.... that’s all you’d have to do with any product is use less.... 😳😏😣
Everyone! 🚨 This technique WORKS. (I followed along with her demo.) My makeup looked filtered, just as she said, I’m doing the same technique again today and it’s coming out so nicely again. Thank you for this simple yet so efficient technique! 😘
So basically what my grandma has been telling me all along, less is more haha ❤️ It’s funny how it’s so simple but the answer that we as makeup lovers seem to over look so often ! I think I’m also going to switch from bleeding in smaller amounts of foundation from my bb to a brush. Back to the basics !!
I like how another YT makeup artist said that even on YT these ladies are using special lights, cameras that look nothing like natural light so of course they give the impression that their makeup tips are flawless and perfect. This video is a perfect example.
I love how relaxed you are when you present your techniques. It's reassuring that you're condident in what you are talking about without having to tear a single brand appart -- easiest subscribe ever.
The video says "how to stop it" I'm thinking she has some home remedy or secret product but nope. I could of sworn she was gonna say something like use a little olive oil before primer or something smh waste of time
I’ve found out that using cc cream only for my base is the best thing I ever could’ve done! It doesn’t look like anything is on my face but at the same time it covers up imperfections. It’s amazing! Oh and a little bit of translucent powder of your choice. ☺️
Omg yes certain moisturizer, prepping ur skin before foundation looks awesome for the 1st hour then u see it starts creasing in ur wrinkles & looks cakey
So yesterday I watched this and today I did exactly what you said before going to work only a very small amount, I even did the dots and it was amazing I felt like I wasn’t wearing any I don’t use a whole lot of makeup so this was amazing for me thank you so much
For everyone who came to this video hoping to find someone who would help them, prepare to be disapointed. Less foundation doesn't help! What you need is a PRIMER. It really helps! Edit: if you don't have a primer you can use a moisturizer! Hope this helped! 😅
Spunky The Cat I second this! I have the worst pigmentation around my mouth area and using a colour corrector in shade orange before foundation has got rid of the weird shadow I would usually get after putting on foundation. Makes the skin look so much more even. LA girl do a good corrector and so do NYX
I have that too, I feel you! 😭 but my tip for you use a concealer darker than your skin tone ( not a contour shade though, a bit lighter) and put it on your problem areas, whether it’s pimples or discoloration. Then use a concealer lighter on top and blend them together. Believe me when I say you won’t need foundation, your make up will look flawless! I still struggle with acne, but ever since I’ve learned that technique, I feel better about how I look. Please do try it and I hope it works for you just as it did for me 💜💜💜
I'm surprised most of these comments are not so positive. I liked this video a lot and it's my first time on her channel. Loved it!! Subscribing!! I want more!
I just realized watching this video I am so lucky that I dont have to use 30 different products just to go out my day. Girl, base mascara and lipstick and that! less than 5 min I am done!
What did you use for baking ...I would have to watch this on repeat to get the tips & process to apply ... You look great & looks more natural than heavy application ..looks awesome the way you applied & shared process
Hey, I'm saying this for anyone who needs to hear it. Makeup is not skin, your makeup is not cakey, you are just seeing the history of your skin. Your skin carries that history, makeup in real life without filters or amazing lighting will never look like skin.
Ik heb het nu twee dagen geprobeerd en me make-up ziet er zo veel mooier en zachter uit. Ik heb zelf een slechte huid dus was erg sceptisch maar ik ben fan!😍
Any makeup will be perfect with skin like yours And with these high end products too In my case.. Problematic skin and I can never afford these products
Thanks so much!! My makeup was looking so blotchy and rubbed off so easily. I was using a dampened beauty blender to apply my foundation and it just seemed like to get even and complete coverage I was using 3 times the amount of foundation I needed. It didn't matter if it was w7, Smashbox, Esta Lauder, IT, Clinique, Rimmel, or even L'Oreal Paris I was having the same issues. Switching to a brush, and using 1/4 of the foundation I normally used turned out SO much better. I baked and didn't add the powder to my cheeks and LOVE how this turned out.
It absolutely makes my day when you post! Could literally watch you ALL DAY, EVERYDAY 🥰🥰 Could you please review the new Charlotte Tilbury foundation when it comes out 🙏❤️
Sarah Schopick are you serious?? Lemme tell you something doll, true beauty does come from the inside! We didn’t get to pick our faces, but you better rock it Momma! Confidence is the best makeup you could ever wear! Woman to woman, don’t be so hard on yourself! Xoxo
Nope I'm with Sarah on that one. Not everyone is gonna be super confident with the skin they have. And it sucks but that's okay! I see my entire face as one big imperfection as well. Its blotchy and dull. That one little drop of foundation this lady used wouldn't touch my imperfections!
I’m going to try this - I have a few of the products at home 💖 if you have to save a little bit more or squeeze the last bit out something instead of instantly replacing you will notice how easy you can level up your makeup bag. By cutting open a foundation or using a spatula to empty it out entirely you can save a weeks worth of make up and save money for “boujee” items that have amazing reviews.
Today I was just THINKING about why my face started looking cakey, because before this , it did not look like that but now I do not wear it so often because I have skin care problem bla bla bla BUT HERE IS THIS VIDEO! Thanks God for it! You go Dilan😊
I've been looking for a TH-camr who gets my sense of makeup..n I just found u😊😊😊 Plus I love love love the way you play around with your tools and make fun here and there
I don't understand why there's so many negative comments? I think this was a beautiful tutorial and I'm defo going to be trying some techniques out of this - thanks for sharing!
Wow, how beautiful! I recently watched a Wayne Goss video about how to apply contour after 40 and he said the same things you did. Powder first lightly, then bake. I was so glad to hear you say the same thing too . This is really a gorgeous look on you, and that last lip color was just amazing! I just love your tutorials!
I've seen Lisa Eldridge recommend this technique also. Using a very thin layer of foundation and then spot concealing with a high coverage concealer only where needed. It does work. Although I have trouble with the concealer looking a bit dry after a while and having a shiny t zone. It's always hit and miss with my combination skin...
Please do not watch videos and assume the product they’re using is gonna be useful to you . There are so many products out there and most of the products she’s using a lot of people cannot afford . There are many products that work just as good but are a half of the price .
As a newbie...I get the question. I dont think she is specificslly asking because she assumes she needs those specific products but a list is helpful to find decently priced similarities. I am new to full coverage and a list is helpful vs. Watching and taking notes on what comes first, next, etc and what products are similar and well rated but not as expensive. Plus some people are able to afford higher end products. I have similar skin and havs no idea where to start with shade matching so I would love a list to at least go off of to start.
I see all these comments about you using too many expensive products and that ur video doesn’t help, but honestly guys. This video isn’t for recommending budget products, it’s about the technique she uses and that’s her tips. I don’t think she deserves all these negative comments. I can’t afford those products she used either but i still liked this video because she still shows techniques on how to apply and stuff.
You're so pretty and your video was so helpful! Thank you so much for showing your product selection, the brushes and your application process. Love! ❤
I love how some people are praising her skin and others are saying that they didn’t like the video because they can’t relate. Seriously? Your makeup is only as good as your skin. Take care of your skin and you’ll have flawless makeup. Take breaks from makeup. Take breaks from skincare every once in awhile. Find a face wash that works for you and use it! Use serums and moisturizers. Work on your skin, but don’t over work it and make it worse, before you get back into makeup. And then you can relate
I would love to see this tutorial with drugstore makeup 💄😘 and get the natural lights to see the real look , other than that you are freakin gorgeous 😘😘
I did this today and it works! I brought a compact with powder and a brush and did a touch up a few times...but my make-up looks better than before. I also have acne.
i just started wearing makeup, and i have fine skin but my dark circles are being meanies. soooo i accidentally put a load of concealer and the make up powder under my eyes, and i was C A K E D. never doing that again 😔
My skin is veryy oily and i have a lot of acne bumps and some scars too. So like Whenever i bake my face to prevent oiliness it just gets too cakey and i end up looking like i have TOO MUCH going on on my face.
Oh girl, I have a very oily skin and nothing helps from skin looking cakey at the end of the day, tried everything, it's just if you have very beautiful and not oily skin everything looks good
So it's very easy for those youtubers with the perfect skin, (cause they can afford expensive procedures) show how to stop foundation from looking cakey. I love their makeup looks but I don't trust any advise like this one
Step one: have nice skin and only need a tiny amount of foundation
I did a modelling + editing tutorial ❤️ th-cam.com/video/2a81uUn2Q6E/w-d-xo.html
Smh🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️

foundation always looks good on camera but in the daylight you will see the ugliness
Queen 2018 I keep seeing ppl in person who's foundation and make up look great. I just can't get mine to stay nice all day.

Watched it waiting for the tips on how to stop it, but it seems like it was just you putting on fancy products. Not very helpful?
Lora Bourelle also she kept saying this isn’t a click bate video
My thoughts exactly. Confused !!
Same here 😥
She said the key was to not add too much foundation.... and bake afterwards

My skin is veryy oily and i have a lot of acne bumps and some scars too. So like Whenever i bake my face to prevent oiliness it just gets too cakey and i end up looking like i have TOO MUCH going on on my face.
How is it physically possible to be so perfect 😭
This look is beautiful but, we can’t all afford to spend a fortune on makeup.
Go make money
Mila X oh I would but, I’m disabled and confined to my home. But, Thankyou for your input.

Sanae Rahaoui thiiis
Sanae Rahaoui Dior Backstage Face and Body doesn’t transfer (I have combination skin type)
Sanae Rahaoui The All-nighter Setting Spray from Urban Decay
My makeup used to transfer but ever since I started using the elf dew primer and the Maybelline long lasting setting spray it doesn't transfer anymore
use some sort of setting spray :)
Ok, the products you used are gorgeous but very high end. Can you suggest dupes for them please? Thanks!
Oh girl, I have a very oily skin and nothing helps from skin looking cakey at the end of the day, tried everything, it's just if you have very beautiful and not oily skin everything looks good
I have extremely dry skin and it looks cakey a lot to. Guess it doesn't matter which skin type, it does it.
So it's very easy for those youtubers with the perfect skin, (cause they can afford expensive procedures) show how to stop foundation from looking cakey. I love their makeup looks but I don't trust any advise like this one
Oh wow! It made your face AND lips smoother (on the thumbnail pic.). It is definitely not a filter!
The secret is : use good product, look the products that she used, the most really expensive 😂👏
