I try all these tips on these videos and when I'm done I look in mirror and I'm like, uhh, I still see lines and cracks in my makeup, specially when I see my makeup job in the sunlight, it looks like a chicken been on my face scratching, to many cracks and crevices😭. Anyhoo, this lady doesn't even need makeup, she's pretty without it.

Honestly I don't really like her tutorials it seems like she is the one who makes you feel depressed because she is like oh look at me Im so beautiful and a model and you guys suck! So yesterday I watched this and today I did exactly what you said before going to work only a very small amount, I even did the dots and it was amazing I felt like I wasn’t wearing any I don’t use a whole lot of makeup so this was amazing for me thank you so much
So basically what my grandma has been telling me all along, less is more haha ❤️ It’s funny how it’s so simple but the answer that we as makeup lovers seem to over look so often ! I think I’m also going to switch from bleeding in smaller amounts of foundation from my bb to a brush. Back to the basics !!

Nope I'm with Sarah on that one. Not everyone is gonna be super confident with the skin they have. And it sucks but that's okay! I see my entire face as one big imperfection as well. Its blotchy and dull. That one little drop of foundation this lady used wouldn't touch my imperfections!

I have the worst pigmentation around my mouth area and using a colour corrector in shade orange before foundation has got rid of the weird shadow I would usually get after putting on foundation. Makes the skin look so much more even. LA girl do a good corrector and so do NYX
I have that too, I feel you! 😭 but my tip for you use a concealer darker than your skin tone ( not a contour shade though, a bit lighter) and put it on your problem areas, whether it’s pimples or discoloration. Then use a concealer lighter on top and blend them together. Believe me when I say you won’t need foundation, your make up will look flawless! I still struggle with acne, but ever since I’ve learned that technique, I feel better about how I look. Please do try it and I hope it works for you just as it did for me 💜💜💜

Less foundation doesn't help! What you need is a PRIMER. It really helps!
Edit: if you don't have a primer you can use a moisturizer! Hope this helped! 😅

Hey, I'm saying this for anyone who needs to hear it. Makeup is not skin, your makeup is not cakey, you are just seeing the history of your skin. Your skin carries that history, makeup in real life without filters or amazing lighting will never look like skin.
Love this look a lot but way too many products, I got lost after the concealer as highlighter. I don’t know what else you used besides the bronzer, blush and highlighter 🤷🏻♀️.

I can’t believe that using just a little bit of foundation would make my entire look better. Step one, great lighting. Step two, fancy camera. Step three, filters. Step four, apply a ton of foundation. Step five, overdraw your lipline so you have clown lips.

Please do not watch videos and assume the product they’re using is gonna be useful to you . There are so many products out there and most of the products she’s using a lot of people cannot afford . There are many products that work just as good but are a half of the price .
As a newbie...I get the question. I dont think she is specificslly asking because she assumes she needs those specific products but a list is helpful to find decently priced similarities. I am new to full coverage and a list is helpful vs. Watching and taking notes on what comes first, next, etc and what products are similar and well rated but not as expensive. Plus some people are able to afford higher end products. I have similar skin and havs no idea where to start with shade matching so I would love a list to at least go off of to start.
The “trick” is to use less product ?
I've seen Lisa Eldridge recommend this technique also. Using a very thin layer of foundation and then spot concealing with a high coverage concealer only where needed. It does work.
Although I have trouble with the concealer looking a bit dry after a while and having a shiny t zone. It's always hit and miss with my combination skin...
So the key is not to use too much base
I like how another YT makeup artist said that even on YT these ladies are using special lights, cameras that look nothing like natural light so of course they give the impression that their makeup tips are flawless and perfect. This video is a perfect example.

Your makeup is only as good as your skin. Take care of your skin and you’ll have flawless makeup. Take breaks from makeup. Take breaks from skincare every once in awhile. Find a face wash that works for you and use it! Use serums and moisturizers. Work on your skin, but don’t over work it and make it worse, before you get back into makeup.
And then you can relate
i just started wearing makeup, and i have fine skin but my dark circles are being meanies. soooo i accidentally put a load of concealer and the make up powder under my eyes, and i was C A K E D. never doing that again 😔

I’ve found out that using cc cream only for my base is the best thing I ever could’ve done! It doesn’t look like anything is on my face but at the same time it covers up imperfections. It’s amazing! Oh and a little bit of translucent powder of your choice. ☺️

Ok not useful, people will tell you you have flawless skin because you DO. That makes a huge difference! I can't just put a "little" bit of foundation I have dark spots, acne, bumpy skin, discoloration, dark sunken eyes, even with concealer my face looks horrible. Can't afford them $$$ products, ugh, waste of time 👎 and I'm sorry I just can't with those lips 🦆🦆🦆 She tries to be cute and funny but not working

I tried using the fine powder as my face kept looking cakey and it looks way more natural now I love how it’s come out definitely a huge difference in the way I’m going to do my make-up now I was wondering if anyone has any suggestion for really good full coverage foundation that still give a natural look to them for affordable prices as I’ve no idea about full coverage foundations I’ve one foundation I love it’s amazing but it doesn’t cover up break outs well so any suggestions would be really appreciated 🙂
Nothing pisses me off more than girls who know they have flawless fucking skin and brag on fake stories “ I used to have problematic skin”. Firstly, wtf is problematic skin? Define that. Are you talking about acne, huge pores, boils and whiteheads under the skin. Or are you talking about fatty black head congested on the forehead, nose and cheeks. Or do you mean absolutely zero nice skin texture and scars caused from each time a spot pops? Because I’m afraid, people who actually “problematic” skin never end up with baby skin texture. That shit leaves scars and uneven skin texture ( which is the main reason why foundation does not suit people with bad skin) enough said.

Its not 'cakey' its TEXTURE. Your skin has TEXTURE, bumps, lumps and all sorts. its SKIN. What you see is photoshop, facetune and other editing software.
