Most people use the TubeScreamer to make their distortion scream, but it's interesting to hear was the TS does for clean tone. Maybe most people never thought of that before.

All tubecreamer owners have tried using it on a completely clean channel but, as you yourself can hear in this video, the problem is that there is a lot of lowend cut and some high end cut. It is a feature of the tubescreamer. Its best use is not on a clean channel but on a crunch or breaking channel, or as a boost perhaps in front of another overdrive pedal. Otherwise the sound is too thin.

I purchased the ts808 a week or 2 ago?I've been lost in it.I'm good on pedals now! I don't listen to john mayer or srv. So i had no preconceived notions. I thought i liked my boss just fine. Nope, 808 is the one for me. It's so warm. I may have to give these two a listen. They have good taste in pedals.

After over 30 years of playing Tried to love that tube screamer sound with no luck. SRV has got that one. Always ended up with a clean boost like Keely or a Geranium Fuzz face for some grit. Sometimes a Klon. Maybe that tube screamer midrange ain't so good with tweeds. Are there anymore options for me?

Great content Tomo like someone already said hearing the ''Thank you for watching Tomo Fujita music'' has become one of my favorite TH-cam phrases. I'm a bit naive when it comes to pedals I rely a lot on my amp but I know these are notorious thanks for the in depth review. Btw I'm excited to mention I bought my first ''vintage'' guitar a 1969 Greco ES 175 copy made in Japan. It looks like the real Gibson, and apparently plays like one as well it's coming in the mail can't wait to start jazzing out on it. Split block inlays tobacco burst with some beefy humbuckers all original. Need to add some pedals to my arsenal now. Thanks man.

The best sound ? Clean sound without pedals, but with more guitarvolume ! :) At least to my ears and in the internet. I´m serious. The only thing you need is more volume in your guitar, and also tones in maximum. The best sound really. Then you can add some reverb (pedal or amp) or some soft dealy and that´s the best tone, you don´t need no TS pedal.
