I grew up in Cherry Hill in the 70's and 80's. Born at Jefferson Hospital. I lived in Roxborough and Andorra in the '90's while going to grad school at Beaver College. I dated a few girls back in the day from Northeast Philly😁
Currently researching areas to move to from Northwest Florida and Philly has made it to the top of our list! We are looking at Roxborough/Manayunk or other areas with that vibe. Any other suggestions that are similar to look into?
Hey! Happy to hear you're considering the Philly Metro. Shoot me and email and tell me what specifically about those neighborhoods are drawing you in so that I can give you some other suggestions to consider too.
I forgot to mention, as you explore online check out my other YT channel where I interview people about their neighborhoods.

Grew up in Lancaster and Pittsburgh in 1970's. Mistakenly moved to both York and Chester Counties when retiring after years in DMV. PA has suffered decades of truly piss poor leadership that has only very recently been voted out of office. It will take decades for PA to re-join the thriving Northeast metropolis corridor because of idiotic voting blocks. Even affluent Chester Cty is behind, with ingrained, money wasting attitudes to match. Advice to PA's young: move away to DMV for a better quality of life in almost every way.
You are not Wrong @marciamarsh9196
Where is DMV ?

The only thing great about Philly is that it's rich in history as far as anything else (its the pits)
I can't disagree!
100% agree.
Been in Philly more than half my life it's not good it's killadelphia for a reason
I've been here my whole life and I haven't been killed yet 🤣🤣😂😂 @@arrionemiller5571 however, I agree it's hairy. You gotta keep your eyes open and don't look like a victim. One of my friends was just murdered in Philly about a year ago. If he wasn't drunk it might not have happened. He was a big dude. Someone stabbed him and they let the f*cker outta jail because "he's got cancer" well he HAD cancer when he plunged a knife into my friend too. This city is F U CKED - I sell homes in Bucks county too! LOL
@LivinginPhillyPA101 good video and Philly is rich in history I always say it's the most historic city in the USA. It had the 1st and 2nd bank. Hopefully it can bounce back more. Unfortunately some rough neighborhoods but the charm is there. And my family loves middle Bucks the Doylestown area
love her presentation
thanks!
It's a dump. 20 years in the city...worse and worse by year. No improvement..Fucking hate this city with a passion.
@BucurEST1989 when you're ready to move out of the city, I'm here to help! I'm in the burbs now too!
Dang, they be complainin about the weather when northern michigan exists. Weather here is so unpredictable that it literally went from like 75 degrees and sunny to freezing and snowing within 24hrs in June one time. XD
It's all relative!
Brotherly love? Thank god I left. The endless occurrence of homicides, carjackings, armed robberies and heroin epidemic. Horrible school system also.
I can't disagree, you gotta watch your back in any city though.
Crime
You're not wrong...
Is there any fish in that river?
@bayouboodleeboo1317 yes there are!
I don't even want to go to Commiedelphia, let alone live there. I avoid going there if at all possible.
Can you tell me who makes the best cheese Steak cool lady? Loved the video
If I'm in the city I'd have to say Jim's on South St. And thanks for the compliment :)

Philly sucks do not move here we live here and we know where we’re talking about. The crime rate is so high and schools suck.
I lived in Philly for a while. I'm in the burbs now. The weird thing is, a lot of older ppl from the burbs are relocating downtown!
