If I have a gearbox that can rotate 900 degrees and a potentiometer that can only rotate 300 degrees, and I install the potentiometer in the gearbox to use it with a steering wheel, wouldn't the potentiometer break because it can't handle the full 900 degrees of rotation? So, the steering wheel wouldn't be able to rotate the full 900 degrees, right?

how can it be used for xbox?
For an easy way out take apart a fan so you just have the part that rotates the blades and use that, some fans have gears in them, you can modify to turn 900⁰-1080⁰ 👍

No, no latency, but the steering wheel has a dead zone it's a little bit problem. and I use the glue gun to attach the gearbox

For 900 degrees the gearbox potentiometer has 300 degrees so we use the fan gearbox. A potentiometer is installed in front of the gear box.

How can i fix mine i just tried to makee this but when i connect it to the pc the potentiometer is jumping from middle and if i move it side ways it will jump like 20% its not smooth so its hard to drive is there anyway to fix it?

you need to use high resolution rotary encoder, its the only way:)

This joystick is only compatible with PC. Xbox or ps5 controller its circuit board is a bit complicated. I think it's hard to set up with an Xbox or PS5 controller.

Is fan motor is important? What is it's use?
The potentiometer only has 270 degrees. So if you want 900 degrees, you have to use the gearbox. That is why a fan gearbox is used.

Last but not least, Does the spring connector quick connect cause i couldn't find it
do you even need the brake cable case or just the inside??
Actually using this barke cable is a bit unsuccessful. Because if the tension of the spring increases, it becomes difficult to rotate the wheel. And the spring is also damaged. (The vehicular spring I showed in the video has more tension) So I suggest not to use spring.

The potentiometer only has 270 degrees. So if you want 900 degrees, you have to use the gearbox. That is why a fan gearbox is used.
When connecting the potentiometer, keep your steering wheel at the center position and connect the potentiometer at the center position.

It doesn't matter if you have a good idea. It's hard to be exact about the prices because I'm from Sri Lanka and the prices vary a lot depending on the country you're in.

900° is not available in the potentiometer. There are only 270° in the potentiometer. That's why I used a fan gearbox. After installing this you need to calibrate Game pad properties
