No, this requires a potentiometer. There are three lines. (Red line (+), black line (-), and a signal line.) You cannot use the sewing machine pedal

A 10k potentiometer is fine. The number of degrees does not matter. Only about 20-30 degrees will work.

@@zudumalli I'm trying this with a different gamepad than you used (I'm using a Logitech F310), and I think it's important to note: the potentiometer you use should match the pot you're replacing on your particular circuit board. In my case (and probably in yours), it happens to be a 10K pot.. and maybe 10K is "standard" for gamepads.. But it's probably best to check your gamepad components first, and design your build accordingly

These pedals work in an analog system. if you connect these pedals to a keyboard or mouse they will be like on-off, like pressing button. use a game controller
