    Stuff that I love for hair growth:
    rosemary
    cloves
    olive oil
    coconut oil
    castor oil
    flaxseeds (don't use that often because I think it can become toxic)
    chia seeds
    that's all! I hope you can use these too! they are so amazing! my hair has gotten thicker, stronger, and longer from these!

    I thought if I looked I might find oats used on hair. I just watched a video of 18th century hair powder and sometimes they used flour. I think they used grains much more on their hair and body in the Bronze Age when they had long thick hair and cherished it. I'm getting into all the things that regrow your hair and make it thicker both from within and without. You could probably try an oat powder as a Finishing Touch for a powdered look if you wanted.

    New subbie! I just love oatmeal on hair. Just that I have this problem, it always leaves a white film that looks lik dandruff when it's dry. How can I prevent or avoid this. It defines my 4c curls but it always leaves flakes. Please help a girl out. I so love your channel.

      I would say 1 week if stored in the fridge and you've added essential and vitamine E oil.

    Been reading the comments and some folks mention a little residue after using this, I’m anxious to try but I have locs and keeping build up from residue of any kind is always the goal to be little to known. Has anyone here with locs tried this yet & can comment their experience ?

      When I used it on my daughter's hair, I didn't experience the residue bc I sieved it 3 times. I didn't show all the sieving process bc I didn't want the video to be long. Also after the treatment, I rinsed severally. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching

      Yes, this is definitely possible. Because oats are high in protein on their own. But irregular and spaced out usage should bot affect the hair negatively if properly balanced with moisture.

      I tried freezing. The consistency changed and it's all yucky and watery. I was a bit surprised cos I have frozen so many diy potions for hair very successfully, .
