I added hibiscus 🌺 to water strained the water. Then heated water to a boil. . then added the flaxseed and fenugreek seed. I strain while hot with metal strainer. So much easier to me
I discovered making flax seed gel by accident. I put 1/4 cup of flaxseeds in a huge Mason jar with some water overnight with the intention of creating a spray. I woke up the next morning and the whole jar was full with the seeds. Those flaxseeds swell up craaazzyy!!. It was so gelatinous so I strained it in a stocking cap just like you did. There was so much gel and it was sooo messy but I managed to put that stuff in my hair. It might be my imagination but I swear that stuff made my edges thick up like in two days! P.S. your hair is lovely.

I added 1 tbs of powder fenugreek and and 1tsp of whole clove. I could use the unfiltered rest of the flaxseed mixture in a skin régiment. It hydrates my hand

I made some flaxseed gel today to retwist my locs and I also added aloe Vera gel to it too. Then I added some drops of oils to the gel too. It’s soo good! I love it. Only issue I have making the gel is straining it. It’s a pain but worth it in the end.

Cook it to desired thickness, put a strainer over your desired, storage container, pour in and let it cool. My husband discovered the same results, without the stocking cap/cheesecloth.
Flaxseed gel used to dry out my hair; so I stopped using that gel... But I'll try it with Fenugreek seed maybe it will counteract the dryness... Thanks for sharing...😇

I never thought I'd boil fenugreek. I tried and saw it forming clamps and I thought lam destroying it. I soak mine in cold water for 2days and on day 2 my fenugreek powder is slippery. I apply it on my face and rinse after 10minutes, my face always feels soft afterwards

flax seed gel changed my life especially when detangling and braiding zero pain.

Try making Flaxseed Gel, pour the hot Flaxseed over the Hibiscus and let it cool, that way you get more of the Hibiscus Nutrients.

Strain immediately without letting it cool. Use heat safe container like glass, then transfer to your jar.

It's easier to strain flaxseed when it is still hot. Just use a metal strainer. Fast and easy!
But the gel will become thicker if you let the seeds infuse in it while cooling
