- We are half way to our 30 day survival challenge. Another catfish would be a Great. But now that I have the air rifleI'm really looking forward to turkey. I'll there's nothing to say I can't catching cook a catfish And a turkey. We do have plenty food right now. But if we don't keep at it We may miss an opportunity to catch more fish Or something big That'll carry us right through to the end.

In Australia and probably most other places with prawn fishing areas(shrimp) if you get the young prawns that are still small and soft, you can fry them up and eat them whole just like you did with the small crawfish, very popular, if you do come across fresh young prawns, toss them in Cajun spice and flour and shallow fry for a tasty snack ^^

I like joe don’t get me wrong but it’s not really survival it’s more so camping I mean bringing steaks and beer isn’t surviving that’s what I like about this series it’s actual survival if you don’t catch it or shoot it you don’t eat there isn’t a t bone waiting for you

Half way through and lovin it. Just finished alone season 3 as well and I have to say inspirational stuff overall. Cant wait to see more and more adventures. Also taking up slingshot again as I really enjoyed it as a kid now I see how valuable an asset it can be. Let the adventure begin.

I know that this video is already a year old, but just wanna say that the cactus fruit you've eaten probably tastes more like that of a Dragon fruit.
The fruit is from a certain type of cactus and is widely grown here in the Philippines.
THAT'S the exact impression I got when I saw those prickly cactus fruit.

You can to peel catfish cut the skin and pull it down makes it a little easier

ya it's a hard balance we have food and haven't gone hungry but there is no telling when somthing like the river rises and we find ourselves with nothing for days. so far we haven't wasted a thing and I wont shoot or take more if I'm not certain I will completely not waste it

Another great video. Do you not see any dandelion and common plantain there in Texas? Great supplements to your meals. Dandelion root also makes a good substitute for coffee. Plantain leaves also have medical properties.

The series is great
My mom has relatives in Texas that have a big plot of land full of woods. There are squirrels (and probably deer) and lots of feral pigs/hogs there.
We have been invited to go over there for hunting/camping sometime this/next year. I would love to camp out in the woods and hunt/forage for food there for a couple weeks. I'm not sure if they have any water on their land, though. I love fishing for Sunfish, Largemouth Bass, and catfish (mostly blue/channels).
Great series, thanks for the show guys. Question about the air gun though: What advantage do you have over a couple of rifles? You need the arrows and slugs for the air gun just as you need ammunition for a .357 or .22. I'm probably missing the obvious here. The night scope is a great advantage but you can mount those on anything.
