- I have been hunting for days trying to get turkey, but so far unsuccessfully. So today I'm going to load the 50 caliber air rifle with the arrows and go dear hunting. This 50 cal air bow is awesome! Now if I can just get in front of a deer while I'm hunting !!!!

Another really good video showing the difficulty of feeding yourself in the wild. Really like the zipper pull on the Outdoor Vitals sleeping bag. That is a great idea a long time in coming. Bring on day 19!

I am amazed by how much game you see or hear and yet how difficult it is to find a legal kill. Chris is doing very well with the Havahart traps and the racoons. I have lived and hunted in Texas: I spent time sitting in a blind surrounded by does and I have spent time seeing too many pigs at once or no pigs at all. Good thing I also had a garden, a retirement fund and nearby grocery stores!

That is a spike, and considered antlerless. Perfectly legal to shoot.
