    everyone should have one of those! and pake the parts by outsourcing machine shops so price is lower!

      I would try starting with 30 cal browning before 50 its smaller but looks the same! or just buy parts on sale before getting parts made cheaper!

      It’s far cheaper to buy a parts kit than to try to reverse engineer the parts and have them machined by a machine shop.

    Great video. Thanks for the info. The head spacing was very interesting to see done. Have never played with hardware like that so it’s greatly appreciated you’re sharing with us all. Take care, pal! This video deserves many more views! I’d love to see an original water cooled version just for shits and giggles. They’ve always piqued my interest for some reason, they just look mean to me lol.

    I thought I wanted a 1919 for my next MG but now I’m not so sure. A lot of unfamiliarity there.

    So it is the side plate that is the registered receiver? This is a post sample gun?

      The two guns in the video are transferable side plate guns and yes the side plate is the registered part.

      @@BWEFirearms I recall a Marine used a aircraft 1919 that ran at about 1000RpM and put a Garand stock on it. He used it on Iwo Jima and got a MOH (posthumously). The Ma Duece is still in service too!

      @@BWEFirearms Forgotten weapons did a show on it. Someone made a few close copies of the original. What was interesting to me was that we had a 1919 that would shoot almost as fast as the MG42 but we only used in in aircraft.

    Richard, I watched the livestream you did with Crump. If you got rid of your FFL, do you think you’d still make parts or parts kits since that doesn’t require a firearms license?

      If I was to get rid of my FFL, I would expand my parts business.

      @@BWEFirearms people ask me where the new military surplus guns are. I tell them the only Military Surplus guns left are not importable as completed guns so they are coming in as parts kits.

      @@535tony Military surplus is gone from Europe as the EU has decided no weapons parts can be sold to non government entities. South America and Africa are still using the surplus weapons.

      @@BWEFirearms When I bought my Sten in 1990 I bought a few parts kits cheap and a box full of magazines. The last Sten kits I saw didn’t even include the barrels. Has atf classified barrels differently now?

      @@535tony Yes, you can no longer import barrels for military weapons.
