    Hey thanks for the video man! Hadn't realised just where the actual connection for the downstream is, so this is a big help

    Thanks that was very educational, Im sure I can do it myself (as long as the Galante is similar to the Outlander)

    Thanks for posting my haynes book was worthless for this job! Also Autozone has the O2 sensor wrench on their loaner tool program part #27110 or 27162

    Hey!! If you see this I have a question about your 03 Mitsubishi Galant ES 2.4L? I have the same exact car, and I'm having problems with a jerk/studder with Idle/low rpm, bit of a misfire. I've taken it to a shop, did a few repairs myself before the shop. The idle air control has been changed with EGR/SOLENOID. ONE last thing hasn't been changed, and it's that Downstream 02 sensor. Do YOU think that is the problem with mine? PLEASE help if you see this or anyone who can shed some light on this problem. IT IS A NIGHTMARE

      Mines is happening the same. I will be replacing it after upstream one if issue continues. Also did u check ur spark plugs? If oil is getting in them or if they are old and worn. Replace them and u might need to change your valve cover gasket if oil is leaking in to the spark plugs.

      Try checking your MAF sensor and MAP sensor also because they may be dirty.

    how did u remove the blue lid cap

    • @Quetzachapin
      @Quetzachapin  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Once you pop it down from the inside by pressing the tabs, it's already loose and you can just pull it down from under the car.

    You made like a bandit cause sometimes you have to drench sensors with pb blaster sometimes a day before replacing sensors..
