where is the speed sensor do u kno ? i have a mitsubishi galant 99 automatic and my speed sensor is causing hard shift knock sounds when i set it to drive i have no clue where it is thought u might
Ive got the same symptoms, never thought it was that easy to change, imagined it was under the car, not next to the manifold. What model Galant have you got? Thanks
Cool video man it is easy to change, the down stream one in attached to the catalytic converter on the exhaust about half way down, just as simple to change but you will be lying under the car so wear overalls or have a wash after, dont by like me and have your gf flip because theres oil in the bed...
You might wanna keep in mind that there's a second oxigen sensor ...there's one in the front of the vehicle (the one he changed on this video)..and there's one on the bottom ...on the exhaust
j2mane what is exact name of this oxygen sensor? I have to change it, but there are upstream, downstream oxygen sensors for Mitsubishi Galant, but I don't understand which one is it.
Upstream. The down stream is the one that's harder.., I mentioned it towards the end of the video- just have autozone or anyone with a diagnostic device to specify which one it is. You'll be fine! Good luck. Let me know if you have any more questions
Bruh you a life saver for this video. Shop told me $225 for this. Changed it in 5 minutes.
🔥🔥🔥
Got a estimate of $150 for this to be done, part being $60 and labor is 90$. Thanks for saving me money my man!
How do you change the down stream one
do u have to use a special wrench?
Did you take off the heat shield first?
I need to know what brand of tool did you use because your O2 wrench looks a Hell of a lot easier then the ones I'm finding.

joni Hernandez he mentioned that dummy
He said there were two of them at 1:23
He probably only coded for one of them.
