Yes! I picked up the Choices Privileges Select MC 90K bonus a couple of months ago 😄😄🎉🎉
I know you're all about Citi so it makes total sense to pick up the Choice card. Can't hurt to get all those free nights!!
Tight video bro. Love my Citi premier card. Going to dominate with it this year
Thanks Jim. I'm currently traveling so of course, my Citi Premier is getting lots of love! Citi in general will be a major focus for me in 2024
Great videography!
Asante sana 😊
Waiting in the Citi airline partners video.
Been busy with the job which pays the bills :)
One of the transfer partners I was going to tout is Turkish Airlines. However, there will be a devaluation on Feb 16th, so if you have a destination in mind and enough points to book, you have 4 days to do it. I'll likely be doing a redemption in the next couple days (before the 16th) to avoid the points hike.
I'd actually like to see something on Avianca.@@RSquared-travel-rewards
Citi's got some nerve marketing the Citi Premier as a "travel card," given that it provides no travel insurance and no rental car insurance. With a $95 annual fee, it should include those perks.
I love taking the Citi Premier abroad with me. Because I do long-term stays, the premier comes in handy with its 3X on groceries. If you've watched my travel channel (@RichardDebs), I tend to eat at hotel restaurants and for that, premier again offers 3x in the travel/hotel category. It is the one card I use the most when in Africa.
After you book flights, hotels and rental car with thank you points all you have to do is pay the taxes with a card that has travel / rental insurance and you should be fine.
any insights on what citi looks like to approve you for the Premier? that location is KILLER btw!!
Glad you liked the location. The safari was epic. I wish that I had more insight on Citi's approval process. However, I do know that will also reject you if you have too many recent inquiries. They don't seem to care about the volume of cards which you currently hold but too many recent inquiries will result in a no. I bank with them now which I believe allowed me round out there portfolio easier.
I currently have 2 Premier cards which I plan to keep. I'm an optimist and hope that my usage of the cards will give my some loyalty points so that when the 2 Strata cards (Premier and Elite) are released that Citi will make me an offer 😊 I'm playing the long game here 🤞🤞
@@MrBankRelations always after signing bonuses, but also to diversify banks/systems. I don't have any Citi cards and considering whether getting a different card of theirs first makes sense but I really only want the Premier.
@@412foto Don't sleep on the 5x custom cash. I'm on my way to getting a 2nd custom cash to maximize my 5X
@@RSquared-travel-rewards can you transfer to partners with that card or do you have to have the Premier to do so?
@@412foto The Premier is needed for the transfer. The Custom Cash and the Premier represent a great combo. The Double Cash is a great 2X catch-all but I use my VentureX or my Amex BBC for 2X.
