    Have you made larger batches successfully that can be kept out of the refrigerator? Also, have you tried grinding the chia seed first?.

    • @gentletummy
      @gentletummy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Rosanne, great questions :) No, I haven't stored it at room temperature before. I haven't tried grinding the chia seeds myself but I've read that you can. That is a great idea if you don't like the 'seed' like texture.

    Thank you for sharing your videos. I have a question, can i use stevia instead of maple syrup?

    • @gentletummy
      @gentletummy  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Margaret, that is an excellent question :) I haven't tried using stevia instead of maple syrup so I don't know what amount to recommend. But yes, it will work in the recipe. Let me know how it turns out for you :)

      At least seven days in an air tight container :)

    I have learned that if you grind the seeds, you get more of the omegas out of them.

      Hi Aggie, yes, you can ground the chia seeds first if you prefer a smaller texture :) Let me know how it turns out.

    I cant eat chia due to kidneys, will flax seeds thicken it?

    • @gentletummy
      @gentletummy  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I haven’t tried it with flaxseeds. But I have a maple sweetened jam recipe that doesn’t require any seeds you might like :-) gentletummy.com/sugar-free-strawberry-jam-maple-syrup-no-pectin-recipe/
