I had the same problem with broken arm. Replaced Gimbal motor. Got it back together. Camera faces down & to the right. The box that the Gimbal plugs into gets hot. Replaced motor & wire harness in repair. What have I done improper?

To add, I did take Gimbal motor and put it into original case.

Thanks for the comment. A Phantom 4 Pro camera will not work on a Phantom 4.

How do you remember where to put the screws back, let alone which screw goes where !! I have a Phantom 4 Pro, which, while taking off, lost one of the propeller. it was loose. And I was goint to fly from the edge of a lake. So, it bunny hopped, and dunked in the lake. Thank god for my cave diver daughter, who was in the water. She retrieved it from the bottom of the lake. But, damage was done, and I had to spend almost $800 to get it fixed. I think they sent a replacement instead of fixing mine. If I knew how to do this, well....
Parts are removed in a specific order and the screws are kept with the part. After you've done a few, it becomes easier.
Hello, since you are a professional in repairing drones, I wanted to please ask a question that you might know the answer to: Is the upper part of a Phantom 4 Pro drone the same as the upper part of a regular Phantom 4 drone or is there some difference and it is not possible to exchange them? Thanks in advance
I haven’t compared the two but I would say no. The cost difference is negligible so I would get the correct shell for your rebuild.

Hello, I am trying to find a camera frame with the black screw on the left arm.. crashed the that screw broke into two on stuck in the frame body thankss
its the same problem of my phantom 4 pro. the problem is i dont know if theres a technician in the philippines

After the repair and start up, did it ask you to perform an update? I have replaced the cable and it asked me to update because it found an inconsistency between the software and the hardware if I remember correctly.
It did not ask for an update. My guess is the cable had nothing to do with the need for the update.

Where do you buy the ribbon cables from Second question I got a phantom 4 pro not the 2.0 will the 2.0 work with what I got
I get the cable from various EBay sellers. As far as I know V 2.0 is the same camera as the regular Pro.
I made that same repair on mine. But unfortunately now it shows a message from camera sensor error.
Could be a problem with the ribbon cable.
