My 40 Days in Thailand is up and I need to do a Visa run so i decided to go and spend a few days in Laos and show you how to do the border crossing from Thailand to Laos

Tom, you got got at that currency exchange. 1 million Laos Kip should have only been 2,000 Thai Bhat. I never use exchanges, you get the actual/official rate by withdrawing local currency from an ATM. If you set up an account with certain banks they don't charge fees and some even reimburse you for ATM point of use fees.
More smart do extension of 30 days in thailand, after 45..instead of going by land, where you have only 2 lands per year..

@@RoamingHogan On two trips to Lao I've never been asked to pay in Kip - Baht or crisp US dollars only, but any change is always in Kip.
