TLDR; no one who is unsure about going to college should go until they have a concrete, actionable plan for what purpose the education you're paying to receive serves, and how you're going to repay once you go.
@@copperfish8816 If you want to just learn things, you can use the internet for that. You can teach yourself literally anything you want to know. The way he moved his body while "getting shot" was so realistic
Wait how do you know?
He isn’t the only menace to society...
When someone gets shot, the person will not fall backwards. The force propelling them back is less than the recoil of the actual gun. In fact, the bullet may even pass through the entire body, which means that the energy of the bullet will be “used” somewhere else.

I love how Steven's dad has the wheel hanging on the wall, so that he can look at in case he would forget if Steven should be a doctor or a lawyer. Always a good comfort for the parent.
The fact that lawyer was down, it makes sense that the hand pointed at it 😂.
The fact that he has the script on the computer

“Grades aren’t everything mom”
“I know, *but you still need to attend the College* ‘’
-Quote from my Asian mother
I mean, you should probably attend college. It's not about the grades, it's about education.
@@copperfish8816 agreed
@@copperfish8816 speaking from experience, college is expensive and the job market is way over-saturated with "qualified applicants" who all graduated with the same degree(s) for the field that you're going into. the pressure implied in the the assumption that "you probably should go to college" is another way young people end up very much in debt before they even hit the job market. i'm 28, 1st gen asian, and despite getting a lot of scholarships for being pushed to have excellent grades, i'll probably be paying loans off til i die, because everyone said i "probably should" get an education. a lot of 1st gen Americans are pressured so heavily to make good grades and go to college that grades become your self-worth, and it can be hard to undo when your parents have a one-track mind on your future, and your future career.
If you really need a class format just pay the ten dollars or whatever for skill share. If you go to college *just* to have attended it, you're going to be leaving college with a debt you cannot bankrupt out of that will take half of your life just to pay off, and end up working in the same place for the same pay as someone who skipped college.
if you know you want to be a doctor, go to a good medical college. If you know you want to be a lawyer, go to a good law school. If you don't know what you want to be yet, sit your butt down and figure it out before you take on a debt the size of a house loan just to major in interpretive dance therapy.
@@copperfish8816 College is a scam. Just jump straight into the workforce after high school and work your way up.

Steven’s dad is very believable,
“I swam all the way from China”
“I used to fight the British people at pearl harbour”
“I walk 20 miles to school, uphill, both ways, 26 hours a day”
Swam from china
Ok, he probably snuck on a boat, seems reasonable
Fought British at pearl harbor
Ehh, I guess he might have been fighting with a British tourist at pearl harbor in a vacation? It's possible I guess
Walked 20 miles to school uphill both ways
Uhh.. he might have lived in a mountain and the school might have been on a different part of the mointain? 6 and a half hour hikes to school is a bit if a stretch though
