OOOH 13!! My favorite album of all time :) I'm glad the wheel landed on it!

You said it: this album is a mood. Brilliant album, really creative and out there. Blur are a very underrated band, very versatile with geniuses Damon albarn (later founded Gorillaz) and Graham Coxon (great guitarist), glad to see people exploring their sounds

This album is full of lots of different emotions. Love. Regret. Anger. Depression. Hate.

This album takes me back to 1999-2002, it was always on, Battle remains my favorite Blur track!

I love this album so much!! It’ll be interesting for you to listen to earlier albums from their Britpop phase. It’s a very different style but still fantastic. Modern Life Is Rubbish or Parklife are probably the best.
But I think all of their albums are pretty great 😍

This album is therapy if there ever was a purpose for it.

Would have loved to see the whole reaction to 1992. The screaming noise at the end, followed by that swooshing noise which reminds me of the ocean waves washing away sandcastles on a beach restarting life anew, gives me goosebumps. It’s the most underrated song in their catalog - art rock with intense feelings.
And cmon guys, Trimm Trabb is the best rock song they ever did. It’s explosion at the end of the album before fade out with the two coda songs.
Don’t forget, those outros are more like hidden tracks rather than part of the song.

PARKLIFE was a huge album for Blur. Literally came out on my birthday, April 25, 1994. Won best album of the year awards and all that.
Britpop just meant popular British rock music in the 90s. It's a super vague label, really. Elastica's 1995 debut "Elastica" is another one worth your time, BTW. Labelled "Britpop" and actually one of the best pop-punk albums of all time.

Late to the party, but shout out for a great review of what´s probably closest to "my favorite record". Yeah, it´s wild ride until the middle of the record and you think, you have sort of found out where they´re headed and then the whole mood switches and you find yourself shot into space. My recommendation: Make a playlist of "13" and switch Tender with Music Is My Radar, last single before guitarist Graham Coxon left the band. Never really been a fan of Tender on this album tbh. Very much enjoyed this!

FINALLYYYALLSKSJSUDUHD thank you guys, you are the absolute best of all humanity, God bless you. Now, I have a humble question: Could I add another suggestion to the wheel pls? I don't know how many suggestions a single person can add to the wheel, but if possible, I would like to recommend you to listen to THE GOOD, THE BAD & THE QUEEN self titled debut album, from 2007. It's a supergroup made of the singer from Blur and Gorillaz, the bassist from The Clash, the guitarist from The Verve and the legendary afro beat drummer Tony Allen. It's an album much more "playlist friendly" than this one, but the melodies are awesome. See you probably in 5 years! 🤗

Thanks for supporting and sticking around! We'll add it to the wheel! There's no limit per person and i'm sure you know that it could take a while to get picked but there's always a chance.

You guys should definitely react to their album Modern Life Is Rubbish! It sounds like a completely different band... But it's the same :O

It was a challenge to overcome a depression for a girl when I discovered this album when I was 16 years old xD. Now I'm 34, I'm still alive and I also love this album.
