    Those are really cool Nick. I can see the power behind them when you shoot. I would get a set of step up bits from Harbor Freight. they're cheap and they drill a very clean hole. One bit does multiple sizes.

    Another great job...just love how you take the steps to meticulously show the steps where even slow dummies like me can grasp the just. I also love how you detailed the credit for the origination of your equipment used...very good. It sure is good how you can take advantage of your own archives so the process does not have to be retaken. Yup...another GREAT JOB!!! Much Aloha.

    I like this project but I am also wondering how well it will work for making broad heads ( hunting tips ) for big game hunting for deer and larger game?

  • @zumbazumba1
    @zumbazumba1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    You can make a cone template out of sheet metal that way your arrow sockets will always look the same.

  • @digitallion3861
    @digitallion3861 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Question, if you simply sanded the arrow itself into a point, instead of forging a tip, would it affect the flight of the arrow?
    I'm asking cause I wouldn't be target practicing with the arrows, but saving them for the actual hunt, keeping them fresh.
    Also, do you sell points? You have a website?

    Nick... it'd be great if you could start with how to make the dowel with available material...such as bamboo. The arrow heads and fletches can be managed....it's the shaft that's tricky... especially with such a draw length(and therefore I opted for crossbows...but missing out on shooting from a regular bow). Not everyone has access to the kind of dowels you do...

    Here in India, at least in my city....... I'm unable to get these ready made wooden dowels. Can you please suggest me a way to either make these dowels or buy them.... Anything would be fine. I have been trying since months.... So can you please help me out if possible?

    Will you try to forge tons for the arrowhead For Grammy the airhead, that from history King Henry was shot an hour and his face but he didn’t kill him go to air out by the arrow tip is inside the skull and a forged one And got the tip out of his skull and save him I’d like to see you how you do that.

      That and the spoon of Diocles are surgical instruments I would like to make. One for removing Target points and bodkins, the other for removing broadheads and barbs.
