My blaser R93 or Kimber 300win does not like bullets heavier than 150. Both love federal fusion 150's. Less than an inch at 100.

Those Bergers are more of a target bullet. I wouldn’t go that route.

That’s what Berger is known for but they came out with the Hybrid that is designed for hunting. Our go to is still the Barnes TSX

I could only get fmj for a 7.5x55 I had in a French Mas 36 I filed the tips down a smidge and it dropped the deer in their tracks. Took 5 with it, they moved 3 ft..straight down.

Tsx is the best option.... when game animals are wearing body armor, or in jurisdictions where politicians don't care about animal welfare.
