    This is a neat idea! It is amazing how 10 minutes of "art play" can fuel creativity! I do love watching your longer videos--I learn so much from watching and listening to your thought process as you create an art journal page. That is what encouraged me to join your Mission Inspiration group, and I am thoroughly enjoying having a guided project as a way to put into practice what I've learned. Thank you, Mike, for all the time and effort you put into these videos. They are greatly appreciated!!!

    Great idea Mike. I always seam to fumble when starting a new page. I sit there & think about what to do for eons, instead of just doing something. Thanks for u videos. They r always very inspirational.

    You must be psychic Mike! I bought a brand new moleskin notebook a couple of weeks ago on Prime, so it came the next day. I was so excited! I love it so much, I keep picking it up and stroking it, flicking through all its gorgeous, terrifying pages, then put it down again!! But I'm terrified of it!!! You have now kickstarted me into doing something constructive with it and to stop dribbling over it! Thank you. X

    As a newbie this helps me give myself permission to just try. Nike should be the goddess of new crafters, 'just do it'...also the closest I could get to being an athlete unless the olympic committee makes hoarding art and craft supplies a sport. Love your videos Mike, x

    I do this when I have excess paint to use up off of the sponges on other projects. My weakness is going back and building on that. I would love to see this series come back from time to time adding the next layer to complete the background.

  • @lauragreggain7767
    @lauragreggain7767 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Very useful ....I need to tape the rule of three on the wall in front of my desk. I'm going to assume the same goes for putting tissue paper or other background elements down

    Very informative and I guess you could use paint instead if you haven't got all those archival inks, although I realise it doesn't quite give the same effect. Tfs xo

    Nice, thanks for sharing it is scary to look at a blank page. Perhaps you could do second and third layers in your 10 minute series. : )

  • @DoloresJRush
    @DoloresJRush 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Actually you made ten spreads, not pages, so you are twice as far ahead! Smile! Two opposing pages makes a spread. And the dip in between the two pages is called the ditch. The Rule of ODDS -- 3, 5, 9 and so on. When layering images, white (blank)space and black lines are also considered elements on a page.
