1983 Honda CB650 Nighthawk Runs Again

Carbs are cleaned and a light rebuild was done on all 4 including new bowl gaskets. New valve cover gasket though still leaking out of the end caps on both sides of the head. All new leds in. Carbs probably need to be tuned now but all in all this thing is loads more responsive than it was.

Had one. Sweet bike. But had startup issues. Plus as it was an air cooled bike not liquid, would heat up real quick in warmer weathers.

I rode it back to his house it's a fuckload more responsive now that the carbs are cleaned and rebuilt.

I got a custom 83 and it tends to leak a little around those rubber plugs

I would recommend a Kerker 4 into 1. I don't know i it would be louder though I've never heard the stock exhaust in person but it definitely sounds bad ass

Alek Blackbourn yeah that is a good aftermarket exhaust I have a 1988 Suzuki gsx600f katana with Vance and Hines 4 in 1 header and exhaust and my brother has the same set up on his 1999 Suzuki gsxr750

Alek Blackbourn but a good friend of mine has a 1976 Honda cb750 four with a 4 into 1 kerker exhaust and they are louder than the stock exhaust
