a lot of the videos here mostly only show their hikes but you guys are showing us about the extra costs and even more detailed explanations of everything and very informative! thank you so much really appreciate it! 😊
I think the dogs you encounter on the way to EBC are the most cleaver dogs in the world - they can recognize a dog lover - then they follow them in the most difficult trails making trekkers feel like they got a company/best friend… and that’s how they earn their treats !! Btw, what treats do the trekkers give them ?? The mother-daughter mountain (ama-Dablam) is indeed a beautiful mountain !! Lot of trekkers love it !! What time of the year did you do this trek ??
To be honest I did not see any trekkers give the dogs food, so I am curious if that happens as well! Also we did our trek in the middle of November! Thanks for watching our video!❤️
i am just following your every video since you arrived at nepal ..many foreigners and loca tey dream climbing everest ..but few they were too deaths ....you should feel proud ....hope you guys had the best moment of nepal . nepal beauty and offcourse the himalayas
Those tea houses all of Nepal trekking areas are pretty much the same offering food and bed. They are awesome experience for those who have never stayed in it before. Love your video experience 😊
@@thetravelcoaches I’m glad that i found your videos very informative. I am from Nepal but I’ve never been to that region but i have been planning to do it soon . It’s just that i have lower back pain problems and I will do the trek once I find myself fit enough. I will surely be looking back into your videos for your tips mate. Cheers and do visit other trek routes too when you come back to Nepal. As far as I have heard the place called “Kori” is like heaven.
They will direct you to another hostel that has space, being that all the owners know each other. In our experience they will do what ever they can to find a space for you. But that is what is also nice about hiking with a guide, because they will organize all of that stuff for you!
Very interesting and informative, I like the pacing of your videos. . Do you have a porter in addition to your guide? Are you part of a larger group? Thanks for sharing.
Personally we really enjoyed November because the trail was much less busy, but the weather was a bit colder. I think the best/most popular months are September, October, March, and April being that the weather is great those months. Also keep in mind that the climbing season for Everest is in March, April and May so that is when you can see everest base camp busy with tents and climbers. So short answer long, if you don’t mind the cooler weather November was great because it is not as busy. But if you enjoy most action and energy you might want to go during the more popular months. Hiking with a guide is for sure not necessary, but we really enjoy a guide just because that is were we get to learn about local culture and stuff like that which we enjoy. But we met many people going at it alone.
Can you use USD at the tea houses for the extra expenses outside of what's covered in the guided tour? Or you need to exchange money to the local currency in Kathmandu? Thanks!
No all prices and currency are in rupee! So we just exchanged money in Kathmandu. We also got money in Namche Bazar being that they also had an atm. Hope this answers your question. Thanks for watching!❤️
Thanks for making the video. Are you able to tell me if this trek was done in January 2023 ? As I am thinking of going to this trek in the mid of January which is their winter months. We were told its actually a great month to be hiking. Definitely less crowded . But would like to hear it from you .
hey egg and dairy product are local of which some of them are even better and healthier than in cities so don't make yourself deprived of protein again. and have a nice stay in nepal

Hi was just wondering how you went about finding a guide and a porter and the approximate cost for both of them.Thanks. The toilets??.Interesting
What sleeping bags did you use pls ?
What are the options if the hostels are full when you arrive? Thanks.

What boots did you both wear?
