Personally I never buy a Rolex from anyone but an AD. No offense to all honest watch dealers but the fake watch industry has achieved an incredible growth.
AD can’t see the difference anymore with the super clones. The one he is looking at isn’t a super clone. AND I’m hearing first hand stories that some ADs are taking out the original movements & replacing them with super clone movements. Buyer will never know until serviced.
Been watching your videos for a while now and was inspired to start a collection. Started with the amzwatch, its specs for price and clean looks, now am looking for a dress watch to add.
Picked up a MaMaCoo 's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!
What this shows is that: 1. You need to be a pro to spot one fake Rolex from another one that’s real. 2. There’s a lot of fake Rolex’s out there. A lot. 3. If a Rolex sold for $100, nobody would want one. What does this tell you about their real value?
Great video, thank you! I think it seems a lot easier to tell the difference when you have both authentic and *amzwatch* side by side and can put both of them under a macro lens but sadly it would be a different story if you just handed the replica to pretty much anyone and asked their opinion. Unless an AD has the caseback removed and checked by their watch maker it would probably fool them as well. It probably won't be long before they are able to duplicate the look of the hairspring as well.
@@swisstimepieces the engraved rehaut has only been used since the mid 2000s. So not that old. I’ve also seen loads with poor magnification on the date window and poor bezel alignment. Rolexes having perfect QC is a myth. Also that isn’t a super clone in the video
It doesn't matter how old are they, there are many Rolex that aren't perfect, people think that Rolex are always perfect but they are not. There are many forums that discuss about these issues.
This ain’t a super clone, just a poor replica that can be spotted a mile away. There are loads of super clones out there, only verified by removing the case back and inspecting the movement. Sadly many non authorised dealers don’t check this.
The counterfeiters have been making replica Rolex movements for years. It is well know they can already fool most of the 'experts'. The best super clones need to be sent to the factory for verification.

Just check the balance bridge. Real rolex is free sprung. To expensive to copy that. Fake has adjustment sliders. (2 antennas) also the little screws must be on the inside of the balance wheel otherwise it is not free sprung. Directly go check the balance. i have seen real Rolex cases and dials with fake movements so biggest advice is check the balance bridge. No need to check other features.
@@pauldavies917 no need for headlock or microscope. If you need this you don’t know your watches. If you buy from regular person you still need to verify. @swisstimepieces if someone has the money to buy one then better they get it checked by a professional than watch your video..... but for your average man on the street who encounters more fakes that's all they need to know, raised glass, poor winding system and look at the seconds hand ;-)
I hope he gets his money back, that's a tough lesson to learn. Like with most things in life, if it seems too good to be true it usually is. Rather pay a bit extra and buy from a trusted dealer to have peace of mind. And the same goes for selling, better to sell to a dealer that pays straight into your account before you've left the premises and receive a bit less than try to maximise every last penny selling to a private person and then end up getting scammed for the whole lot.
They sell every watch they get. The problem is the people they sell them too and the fact they immediately re sell to the grey market dealers for a profit.

But I was very surprised about the steinhardt for the price point good quality Swiss watch.
The white hand tag is easily replicated, even with the white tag it can be a super clone. Always have the warranty card & watch inspected by a reputable retailer 😊. Great 👍🏼 content thanks for sharing your expertise back in the day you could tell a fake Rolex from the 1990s and 2000 early 2000s they came along way with these clones and super clones.
I purchased my Rolex Submariner (ref. 16613, new) in 1998 from a USA AD. My wife took it to a premier boutique in Switzerland (hint: the one now owned by Rolex) for servicing and she was told that my watch was a fake. The watch inspector at the counter really embarrassed my wife...made her feel like a criminal in front of a handful of other patrons. In any event, my wife stood her ground and requested that a more experienced staff member review the watch, along with the purchase papers and insurance documents. Of course, that senior expert validated the watch as authentic and had it sent to Geneva for servicing. Eight weeks later, the serviced watch was returned...along with an invoice for $1100. Seems to me that the so-called "professionals" have a hard time authenticating the real watches, too! Especially the older watches...you know...the ones bought under the assumption that Rolex quality delivered something special over one's lifetime. That treatment taught me one good lesson...never to buy another Rolex.
It shows how unrealistic the price tags of premium watches are. If it's possible to produce a very similar watch for a couple of hundred bucks, why does a real one costs (tens of) thousands?
I bought an air king from a Rolex retailer in the Glendale mall ca. I still wonder sometimes if it’s real that maybe they got scammed just the way it was sold to me it seemed to easy to get when no one had Rolexes for sale but they did for some reason
Thank God for subtitles. At this point I wouldn't trust anybody including the so-called experts that make those videos that run jewelry stores. They reverse engineer these watches and they're just getting better and better every day, you might as well just buy a super clone save the money and then you know for sure what you have.
The level of detail these frauds have in these fakes is impressive. Just imagine if they actually put that effort into making a legit watch company and not be frauds.
That’s why it’s better to skip Rolex steel models and go for gold or better for other brands that are not cloned as much or as good. Because by end of the day you might learn that your Rolex is fake years down the road, when you’d try to service it.
Bought a All Black 2019 Rolex GMT from a Jewellers in Ashbourne, the crown was sticky, after the Jewellers refused to acknowledge there was a fault, I took it to Goldsmiths for a Service, they agreed something was wrong when winding the crown and sent it to Rolex for a Service, manager phoned me a week later the watch was Stolen and duly confiscated, after a few phone calls I was awarded a full refund (thankfully) the watch was a full set with both swing Tags etc,to my knowledge the Jeweller still hasn't had the money off the client he bought it off,so your video doesn't surprise me, scary buying a watch off Ebay or Facebook market place, you can easily loose ya hard Earned money 🙏
I have a superclone BATMAN and took it to a jeweler who said that without opening the back of the watch it looked 100% authentic. I get a little wary when watching videos like this carry on about how PERFECT everything from Rolex is, and how you can tell that a watch is fake because it doesn't cast a perfect shadow, and how Rolex watches are assembled by the hands of angels. I am weary of these real vs. fake videos, which have become far too prolific. My watch may be a superclone, but I have $20,000 in my pocket that the guy who bought the "real" watch doesn't have.
The buyer of the genuine one was able to spend 20K without issue for the pleasure of knowing he has the real thing. That’s the difference. Fakes are for losers.
I wear a Bulova auto which I know isn't a Rolex but it's in my price range. What it has in common with a Rolex is it will last many years and should it need parts or service, I know the company will be there to maintain it. You can't be sure of that with a clone so perhaps the first time it breaks, you will end up throwing it out. I have a Bulova that was purchased in the early 70s that needs a service but with that, it would still be functional. I am not sure that would be true of your clone. You don't have to pay a lot for quality so buy a quality watch that you like and it will last you many years.
got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on MAMACOO 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.
The Renault is not always perfectly aligned. My Rolex explorer that was purchased from an AD is not perfectly aligned. There are also fakes that make them perfectly aligned as well
The second hand looked like it had a tick to it instead of a smooth sweep. Almost like it was underpowered but I know video can have a lot to do what I am seeing as well. Who knows what my point is haha. What i do know is I see rookies that think its a great idea to get these super clones so they can see what they are up against. In my experieince in authenticating anything is to have several in your hands. Get the real deal and handle it, look at it and even smell it some cases like sneakers. thats the biggest give away usually.

You don't understand or value the lineage or history, and that is because the product was never intended for you...before the internet no one knew what anyone else had...Be dismissive with your mocking emoji, but a genuine Rolex means something to some people. Now with the interenet, you can put it in a nice "neat little box" because marketers and influencers have homogenized and pimped it out for you.. ~ Despite that; if someone gave you a Rolex, you would be singing a different tune.
I didn't, the clone is amazing
@@JohnnyKraycope harder.
My Rolex will outlive me and will be passed down to my daughter. Its purchase date is also the same month/ year as her birthday.
Rolex clones are just that. Fake, replicas that hold zero value. My Rolex is a lifetime achievement that I earned and love.
@@nomad7734 Bucherer is owned by Rolex, so I don’t have any concerns buying from them.
Where do you guys buy the replicas from?
Been watching your videos for a while now and was inspired to start a collection. Started with the amzwatch, its specs for price and clean looks, now am looking for a dress watch to add.
Picked up a MaMaCoo 's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!
Im shocked about the receipt bit, i always ask for proof of purchase and thought that was covering me, but obviously not!!
Crazy isn’t it!
What this shows is that: 1. You need to be a pro to spot one fake Rolex from another one that’s real. 2. There’s a lot of fake Rolex’s out there. A lot. 3. If a Rolex sold for $100, nobody would want one.
What does this tell you about their real value?
There are rumors that igrotum has the Rolex database of serial numbers and sells replicas with the same serial numbers as the originals

I’ve seen loads of real Rolexes with poor rehaut alignment.
How old were they?
@@swisstimepieces the engraved rehaut has only been used since the mid 2000s. So not that old.
I’ve also seen loads with poor magnification on the date window and poor bezel alignment.
Rolexes having perfect QC is a myth.
Also that isn’t a super clone in the video
It doesn't matter how old are they, there are many Rolex that aren't perfect, people think that Rolex are always perfect but they are not.
There are many forums that discuss about these issues.
Try picking the fake with out a genuine one side buy side
Kind of like what we do everyday of the week? 🤔
You got to be careful of scammers saying they are fake when they are not because they lost out on a sale.
Interesting video. In your reference to the Rolex Crown, it's actually a Coronet. I would also assume the super clone is a different weight
Great information thank you so much
Very interesting and great VLOG, thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you. I bought mine at a Japanese dealer. They have some high standards but as a customer it’s always a question
Will these problems occur if these bags are used daily? I just purchased a metis clutch in monogrammed canvas from the Kusama collection. I love the colorful polka dots and hope they don’t melt on me, haha. But I don't think it will be in my regular rotation. I also have a NoeNoe in the DA but only use it a few times a year in the spring and summer so I don't put much wear and tear on it. I hope I don't see wear and tear for a while. Plus, I'm saving up niceshopx . Have any of your colleagues experienced the same problem with this size? I don't mind the shape being a little more relaxed, but I also don't want it to turn into a puddle. Thanks for the video!
Where can i buy one
Unfortunately I’m someone who fell for a scam on a watch was buying a datejust 36mm, good price as it did need a service I paid 2.5k the watch came with authentic box and even paperwork the booklet card everything was authentic from what the jeweller I went to get it serviced at told me, his technician even showed me how he knew the box and paperwork was okay, but he said upon opening the watch it was when he seen it wasn’t genuine it just didn’t look correct and was missing the Rolex branding, the date wheel had running on some of the numbers he said 28 and 31 were blurry, the serial number on the watch case didn’t match the paperwork, and the movement itself felt cheap although it looked authentic, his words, so he declared id been scammed, I got my money back luckily but still it was brutal
What year did they start engraving the word ROLEX inside the bezel ?
Just check the balance bridge. Real rolex is free sprung. To expensive to copy that. Fake has adjustment sliders. (2 antennas) also the little screws must be on the inside of the balance wheel otherwise it is not free sprung. Directly go check the balance. i have seen real Rolex cases and dials with fake movements so biggest advice is check the balance bridge. No need to check other features.
Really helpful information for our viewers! Thank you for sharing 🙌

The Chinese Rolex clone designers are taking notes
And that's why he said he wasn't going to disclose all the differences. The ones he did disclose are already widely known.
Exactly why he needs to not give away what we know.
Which,he really hasnt, this is for the regular customer to be aware,we will break out a microscope and if isn't really it's actually a pretty fast process.
The clone designers all have real Rolex watches to copy. They don't need to take notes. Any 'mistakes' are deliberate. So they can sell you a new 'improved' super clone (with different flaws).
I can't help thinking rolex has fuelled theft and clones by making it near impossible for people to buy new one without waiting forever.
Don't forget other watch brands are also being replicated, Rolex are just in the public eye a lot more.
I'm 100% with you on that, I've been on several waiting lists for more than five years for a Submariner with not even a call back, and I will not pay over retail for it.
@swisstimepieces I guess so but there price's aren't being driven up by wait lists.

so looking at the glass and winding it is enough for you to know - saves someone else the time watching
Did you watch the whole video? You just picked out two of the more subtle tell-tale signs 😊
@swisstimepieces if someone has the money to buy one then better they get it checked by a professional than watch your video..... but for your average man on the street who encounters more fakes that's all they need to know, raised glass, poor winding system and look at the seconds hand ;-)
For those who love high-end brands, Wristova’s super clones are a must-check.
That’s not even a superclone.
This is why I bought the John Mayer from these guys. Gotta trust your seller!!!
💚💚
If he never found out it was fake, would it even matter???
It’s a shame because AD’s won’t sell watches.
They sell every watch they get. The problem is the people they sell them too and the fact they immediately re sell to the grey market dealers for a profit.
i bought my GMT Master II from this online store wristova, it was pretty good!! The quality, design, dials, and movements were all pretty decent!!
Wow the non sweep second hand gives it away in seconds 😂
I will stick with my 1979 Tudor watch passed down from my pop. And his 1949 18 karat gold longines watch I wear them special occasions. My favorite everyday watch is my 690.00 Steinhart Swiss made from a German own company. The price point not too bad from 490 to little over 1000 bucks. I like Tudor because made real well and I believe they are related to Rolex. Put my two older watches my father left me are beautiful and love the older vintage watches. But I was very surprised about the steinhardt for the price point good quality Swiss watch.
Many thanks ❤
It's going to get to a point where people are going to desire a fake one over a genuine just so they know what they have.
Love AMZWATCH watch, Such a great looking watch to match with the precisionist movement.
The second hand is a total giveaway it’s obviously ticking rather then sweeping
This is why I don’t buy watches without the white hang tag. Rolex is trying to keep them for a reason
The white hand tag is easily replicated, even with the white tag it can be a super clone. Always have the warranty card & watch inspected by a reputable retailer 😊. A white swing tag is usually only handy when buying a precious metal piece like a John Mayer and you want to check the dial code matches the green dial.
@@swisstimepieces I agree that white hang tag doesn’t authenticate the watch, but at least giving me additional peace of mind. Especially when the watch comes with some unique dial. Personally I haven’t seen a replica with the white tag. Have you?
@@cookingwithwatches definitely! I have still found UK ADs keeping the white swing tag too which baffles me. I have seen one superclone with a white tag before but the text & print was blatantly wrong.
🤡
Did the bar code on the white tag when scanned give you the watches serial number as it should ?
There aren’t many ‘obvious signs’ anymore on the best clones. Even the movements inside them are giving Rolex dealers headaches! The details are insane.

Anyone have the link for the super clone? I don’t want to buy it 😂 it’s for a friend who asked me.
Great points of reference 👌👌
super clones are the future
Soon the super clones will be better value and quality than the real ones. I bet the Chinese can make a hell of a watch for $2k
I’m certain they could make a better watch than Rolex for $2000.
For people who don't understand lineage and exclusivity. Before the internet, no one knew what anyone else had...now everyone feels "included".
THe music really helps,
great video info, hard to understand what you’re saying in full
It shows how unrealistic the price tags of premium watches are. If it's possible to produce a very similar watch for a couple of hundred bucks, why does a real one costs (tens of) thousands?

The level of detail these frauds have in these fakes is impressive. Just imagine if they actually put that effort into making a legit watch company and not be frauds.
So what happens with the fake?
I guess after confirming it as 'fake', the AD would cease it as a counterfeit product and destroy it? 🤔.
The music in the background is too loud for this kind of video!
That’s why it’s better to skip Rolex steel models and go for gold or better for other brands that are not cloned as much or as good. Because by end of the day you might learn that your Rolex is fake years down the road, when you’d try to service it.

Nothing like a super clone
@@robbo1233 where can you buy a Super Clone?
Kind of like a woman with real breasts instead of rubber ones. I wonder how many fake owners let people they meet know it's a fake watch.
