How to make programming BFT gate remote using old remote

If the programming is locked inside the gate machine control board, this method will not work, you need to open the gate machine and control unit, there is a DIP switch, set the DIP switch No:6 to 'ON' mode, then try the same programming method , new remote should be work.

The New remote controls must be programmed to be used otherwise they will NOT work. Please carefully watch this video and the instructions here to program the BFT remote control.
1. You must stand close to the gate or garage door (near the receivers) with both remote controls, the old one that works and the new one. In the video, the old one is the one with the white tape on it.
2. Press both buttons on the old one until the LED lights up. When the led lights up, Leave both buttons. Then just press the button you normally use to open the gate until the LED lights up.
3. Take the new remote control and press both buttons in the same way until the LED lights up.
4. Then press any button that you will wish to use to open the gate.
5. Wait at least 10-20 seconds to try the new remote control.

Brother.I tried and for some reason it was not working for me. Is there any wasy u can copy the remote with out standing near the gate? I have a brand called Sommer barror installed and i have a BFT remote . Can you please tell me how to copy the code to BFT remote from Sommer barrier remote
You cant copy from outside anyway,
BFT remote Programming only near to gate, if it doesnt work open the machine do programming in receiver board manually.
many remote fobs can you clone from one key please
It depends on how many buttons you have in 1 remote. ie, you can clone each button separate remote.
I have one key and only need open gate as gate closes automatically. Can I clone that one key button to 4 other gate separate gate keys. Thanks.
