The entire series is comedy at the highest level.. These young men, Seth, Fred, John, Hader are comedy savants... No one can equal theyre level of comedy...
I obviously loved "Soldier of Illusion" - it was so great to see Alexander Skarsgård in a comedy! He was fantastic! But I loved the whole season. Hope this series gets some awards recognition. We need more of Documentary Now!
It is strange that john thinks he needs to explain the concept of Documentary Now to Werner Herzog, because Werner Herzog already did a Mockumentary in a similar style. It is called "Incident at Loch Ness". Werner plays himself trying to film a documentary about the Loch Ness myth, but his producer has a different plan. If you like Documentary Now, the movie is a must-watch.

When you search "Incidente en el Lago Ness" in the video tab of google you find a free spanish version. A low res version is easy to find. And you just need to play them at the same time ( on download and combine them ). Tell us what you think about the movie.
The Werner Herzog episodes were some of the funniest tv I've ever seen. I fell off my chair laughing.
