Speaking from someone whos just upgraded from iphone 12 pro max to the 15 pro max i really expected to feel and see a big difference but i genuinely cant it’s slightly faster and the camera is a little better (mostly the zoom sensor) but considering there was so much talk about the 15’s having a big change its shocking as i type this off my 15 pro max i cannot justify the price tag is has and id still happily jump back to the 12 pro max if i did trade it! Whats more irritating is seeing a fair few people sit there and insist this phone is a game changer and amazing makes me laugh. The average user will almost never max out any phones ram on any os so all a phones ram level (on anything above entry level) actually does is allow the tech spec pissing contest to continue. I have never felt my fold 4 lag once (or my iphone 13 pro that I had before it).
I give you this, you tried to sell it. But most of the things that you mentioned such as the gpu, USB port and the camera. A lot of Android release better versions couple years ago. The 15 is just a mock at apple customer, because for a $1000 phone able could have put in more work, design and technology in it.
You do realize that every major iphone update requires the battery to be retrained right? You have to use the phone for the software to optimize for your specific use cases. Usually two weeks later of your normal use and the battery life goes back to what you would expect it to be. Its really dumb that apple does this.. but they've always done this.. nothing new there.

The coating isn't titanium... its literally a powder coating since colorizing the titanium is stupid expensive and apple wanted to avoid riots. Titanium is stronger than stainless steel.
I think that the colour science on those cameras is awful. I know some manufacturers tend to over saturate and brighten up some colours, but the pictures from that iPhone just look drab, washed out and dull

I loved much about the Pixel 6 but Android OS cannot adapt. I was a software developer back in the day with the Apple II was released (yup that old) and I would not develop products for PCs. I could not figure out how to use its OS. Android is far better than what I experienced them, yet still to non-iOS for me to deal with. All these phone cameras are "very good." True. I’m still on iPhone 11 Pro Max and the only issue I’m having now is since the iOS 17 update is that scrolling smoothness doesn’t make any sense. Before on iOS 16 the phone was feeling snappy, and the day I updated to new iOS it started to feel a bit.. slow..?!? 🤷🏻♂️ still one month after, it’s not any better and I regret updating. I think the best alternative is the iPhone 14 pro max. Because there is no major upgrade other than some internal stuff. As a user i would not recommend upgrading, unless you have an iPhone 11 or so. And not forget buying a good case.
I have had the 14 pro max for a year , and I do think it’s a pretty solid phone , it doesn’t have the 5x zoom or the titanium bit ( personally I think the titanium case is a dog ), or the usb port , but to me none of them are a big deal, and I actually prefer the more utilitarian design of the 14 and arguably it’s better durability. But everyone has their own preferences. I don’t think I’ll bother with the 15 series.

Surprisingly the answer is no. Only chargers and cable complying with PD standards work with iphone while chargers and cables complying with QC standard doesn't work with iphone. There are videos on TH-cam being done on this subject and some chargers and cables are not compatible with the new iphone.

I find that better for editing photos. It’s harder for me to work the colors down in post than it is to spruce colors up.

Been an iPhone user for 8 years had the iPhone 12 pro max and decided to try Android last year. I switched to the s22 ultra and I been disappointed for a year. My phone always freezing and signal always seems to drop with the android and yes I'm with the same company. Decided to switch back today and I can't wait till my iPhone 15 come in

Major disadvantage on all Apple iPhone's, No removable SD storage useless for security of photos and documents during repair or phone battery failure. Back door access available to security agencies big minus for privacy.

iphone is the most un-innovative phone, I ever seen with overated price. Most phones brands sold folded & flip phone already in 2024. Huawei & Honor Flapship phone have satellite phone and texting for country area!
I think the best alternative is the iPhone 14 pro max. Because there is no major upgrade other than some internal stuff. As a user i would not recommend upgrading, unless you have an iPhone 11 or so. And not forget buying a good case.
I have had the 14 pro max for a year , and I do think it’s a pretty solid phone , it doesn’t have the 5x zoom or the titanium bit ( personally I think the titanium case is a dog ), or the usb port , but to me none of them are a big deal, and I actually prefer the more utilitarian design of the 14 and arguably it’s better durability.
But everyone has their own preferences.
I don’t think I’ll bother with the 15 series.
14 pro max battery is a bit poor, but should last all day

The frame is still mostly aluminium. There is a difference between “made from titanium” and “made with titanium”. They’ve just added some titanium to the aluminium alloy.
no. It is made out of titanium. The frame is 100% titanium. It merges into aluminum when u get inside of the phone to save more weight and other factors

Just returned my 15 Pro Max. The overheating and battery issue makes me a bit nervous. Apple might fix it at the detriment of the processor speed... They may not... But I don't want to risk it. I have a 14 PRO max so can wait.

Surprisingly the answer is no.
Only chargers and cable complying with PD standards work with iphone while chargers and cables complying with QC standard doesn't work with iphone.
There are videos on TH-cam being done on this subject and some chargers and cables are not compatible with the new iphone.
