Cheers Mark! 🍻 Ur doing it right, don't worry, we all make them mistakes some days. If I had a dollar for every time I've forgot lures, nets, rods or batteries I'd have a new truck 😅 Keep up the good work!
I watched Fish and Trips video today. The level of excitement his videos bring is night and day. He falls, loses gear, loses fish, all things I do. 😂😂😂. To see your approach on the same day is humbling. I fancy myself a decent fisherman but your skill is on a different level. Great video Mark. I aim to one day be as good as you.
Greetings from Abilene, wishing you and your family a blessed Happy Thanksgiving weekend! Looking forward to seeing more soon but until then, tight lines brother.
Hey Mark, I bough the Bates OG, I’m really enjoying it, and it’s true. You have to keep on dialing it in. Also, I’m glad you make the switch from the GoPro’s. I have the DJI Osmo 4 and it’s such an incredible upgrade. Tight lines!
@@MDLRFishing hey Mark I thought when I was looking at your GoPro stand that camera on there is that insta360 pro with the flip screen I just purchased that too and it is killing GoPro no overheating
My same exact results too! It’s light years ahead of the competition. I’ve been using both cameras (Ace Pro versions) for nearly a year and it’s remarkable. I have no complaints with them.
@@MDLRFishing The disbursement of heat is what makes the DJI and Action Camera so much more reliable. On the DJI, if and when it overheats, it shuts the screens down, but continues to record. Never had any issues.
I enjoy seeing you fish. I'm a newbie when it come to fishing. I'm saving up for a kayak to go fishing. I live in Texas City and I fish off the TC Dike. Seems like I have problems in my fishing but I will master it someday. I'm looking at the Old Town Loon 126 angler. It holds 2 rods. Might be good for a starter yak. Plus I'd keep it as a tour yak even when I'm looking for a better kayak.
Awesome video as always -great catches Mark - it is sad to see boats not being respectful knowing they should slow down around kayakers - not everyone is raised with same - wishing you and family a happy thanksgiving- tight lines brother - respectfully PuraSal Angler - 🙌🏻 ps not sure why my comment was crossed out 🤷🏻♂️
Mark, thank you for answering my question regarding the Bates. Didn't look like you were having to do much thumbing. I'm considering purchasing the Salty Hundo 100,truly hoping for many years of flaws use, but not to replace my Curado DC, just an addition. Thanks and as always "Tight Lines and Full Limits To Ya"
Another great video. Is that a new kayak? Also, I see you still using the stake out and power poles. Do you find yourself paddling or poling more once you’re into the back lakes?
Even though the main channel is deep enough, you still cant see it and they can change frequently. Also as your caption said in the video, the other guy was in the way and shouldn't have been in the channel if he knew a boat was coming, which is not hard to tell as you stated, "here he comes back" in the video. I understand that you are in a kayak and he's in a boat and wakes are bad for kayaks, but he has to do wheat he has to do to not get stuck.
Where are you fishing in this video? I am not asking for your secret spots. Just generally where are you? I have a place on the San Bernard River, it looks familiar.
a self induced challenge... could have been worse, could of forgot your rods and the only thing in the back of the truck was a TOYS FOR TOTS, ZEBCO 202 BARGAIN KIT.... THERE WOULD BE A CHALLENGE LOL BTW I gave a nice check to USMC TOYS FOR TOTS last week.... thought of you and my WWII uncle....
I saw that guy coming on the boat and stood up waving at him and he slowed down. He claimed he couldn’t slow down by ya’ll. He never made it to the back lake. He almost got stuck and again right in front of me. 🤷🏻♂️
Nice seeing you out there again Mark. Once I get my battery fixed we'll link up again for another 1v1 World's Hottest Chip Challenge Part 2.😂
You know dang well you 2 are not up for that again. but keep
us posted😂
😂👍
Don't be so hard on yourself Brother, you done an excellent job considering the start you had . We are human. Love your teachings
there he is.... long time no see....
13:10 That was AWESOME to see Mark!!
Thank you 🙏
This is some of the best skinny water redfish hook ups I’ve seen. Well done Mark!
Thank you 🙏
Cheers Mark! 🍻

🍻 You get it! It's all part of the fun!

This is in no way to slam Raynel, I really enjoy his videos. This is only to say I appreciate both styles.
He’s always fun to watch! His priority is always connecting with the audience and showing how fun kayak fishing should be.
Site cast and ninja tactic is another level! Good video!
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful Mark!
Many thanks!
Always enjoy going fishing with you Mark
🤙
Happy Thanksgiving, Mark. You are still living the dream.
Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you are too!
Thank You For Sharing, Mark ! I Always Enjoy Watching Your Videos. Tight Lines Brother.
Appreciate that! Tight lines to you as well!

GoPro has been resting on the laurels of their past. They're obsolete with all the newer cameras out.

Outstanding Angler skills on display. Showing them how it's done.
Appreciate the kind words! Thanks Marco 🤙
Nice Catches!
Appreciate it!
This was Outstanding!
Makes me want to get a Kayak. Great Video, that place was so loaded up with Redfish.
Thanks for watching!
There’s actually a TH-cam video on how to set the brakes on the hundo reel. It’s really good I had almost zero issues tuning mine
That where all the Reds are at thanks for a great video Brother.
You betcha! Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice job. I see a hatch on that kayak. I would put together a great backup tackle box and leave it in the hatch for emergencys.
Makes sense 👍
Great video! Those boats are ridiculous, I had one run 50ft from me and they ran over our fish so had to move on Saturday.
ouch!

That's how I started things with kayak fishing. It gets you off the bank!

No worries, it gets the point across. 👍

No worries 😉 hopefully it out lasts my Lew's.
9:12 Now that’ll get the ole blood pumping!
😂👍
I just watched fish and chips video and that boat almost ran him over. I’ve been fishing out of a Jon boat I built out and I give kayaks lots of room.
I've been in that spot before, gotta be careful out there! If you don't watch out you can end up on the bank a flip over.
Got the full EVO padding kit to dampen sound on the Hobie Outback, helps but takes very little bump to make noise that spooks them.
Every bit helps to get that edge over the fish 🙌
Incredible fish!!!
thank you
8:08 the guy was freaking tryna drift that boat wtf 😂
😂🙌
Your casting is unbelievable. Awesome video and leaving your tackle box home didn’t matter at all.
thanks 🙏
Great video Mark. Where did you get your smaller anchor pole?
It’s a DIY made from a Power Pole Micro Spike.
Another great video. Is that a new kayak? Also, I see you still using the stake out and power poles. Do you find yourself paddling or poling more once you’re into the back lakes?
I've had the ePDL for a year now. Yes, I always pole around once I get into the skinny waters.
Lures to Viewers. I like that. So many reds so little time lol.
You got it! 😂
Good video bro.
thank you
nice weather to be out there ..geesh a lot of donkey Reds
Yeah the weather was perfect that day!

I like when Flounder do that, leave all the sand,I know Flounder are around, usually throw there, they see it,u get a bite
I love describing flounder trails as a string of pearls!
Wow, that Red could feed my family for a week. Nice.
That red was a monster for sure! 👍
Try internal brake on 1 ext on 8. It works for me.
thanks for the tip!
Was that a big ol snake that crept by you at the 4:35 mark? Lol
not sure
No respect to kayakers gotta love it . But as usual mark shows us how to role with it and keep on fishin lol . Thanks for another great one brother !
Thanks for watching!
Can you let me know what kind of kayak you have and if it came with the trolley motor budget is $2,500-$3,000 hopefully in that range
It's an Old Town Big Water 132 ePDL. I have a link in my video description so you can check it out.
Hey what's the lure u using
Buggs Fishing Curl Tail Redfish Jig

That's awesome you gave to Toys For Tots! You’re truly a selfless person David 🙌

Dang that’s crazy!
I haven't seen that too much this year, every year, Flounder fishing hasn't been good like it use to be
agreed
My moneys on the Lews lasting. Theyre simple, solid, great performers and cost much less.
My first set of Lew’s lasted three years. I’m hoping to get a little more out of these.
@MDLRFishing considering how much you fish and how little to no maintenance you do that's not bad. Theyre the same as the autopilot, right?
Most definitely 👍
Meh, if oonly you had told us the name of the reel you are using, Maybe I missed it?
it's in my video description 👍, Bates LTS
Lots of Oops on this episode. Thats just the way it goes! Nevertheless, still enjoyed it sir!
I was in rare form 😂
@MDLRFishing maybe doing the hokey pokey dance might help...."put your right foot in and your left foot out 🎶" 😆
😂
