That slow jigging technique is the ticket for those winter trout later in the morning. You landed some nice ones. Looks like a cool area. Solid video Mark!
I can honestly say the things that Mark has advertised on his channel have all been quality products. I have some bugs and they're made well, those rods he advertises are top notch.
I recently moved to the ozarks and have changed my species of trout form a speckled trout to a rainbow trout! I’m living vicariously through you! Thank you for the content! Reminds me of home
I recently moved from the KC metro to Houston metro. Spent many years fishing at Bennett Spring state park in the Ozarks area. Some amazing trout fishing there!!!
no way, i was just there yesterday and seen your truck parked there too, good ol 2004. didn’t get no bites but if your there and looking for some mud minnows/finger mullet there’s a little shallow creek in the grassy area to the left looking at the water from where you parked
Those river or bayou bends are sometimes referred to as oxbows even if still connected... "An oxbow wetland is a meander of a stream, river or creek, that has become separated from the flow of water."
What battery are you running, and how long does it last in winds like that, trying to keep yourself in place? I have a 106 pdl and was questioning upgrading, but being a TX fisher fighting wind is always an issue

Take some solvent, flush out the anti-reverse and a drop of light bearing oil. 🤠
Thanks for the explanation 🤙 just looked it up and I’ve never heard of it. Always learning.

I know exactly where you're fishing. I normally fish the other side of the bridge...
I hope you have better luck on your side of the bridge! 👍
Went there today. Zip, not even a bite! Birds started flying the bayou but never dived. They eventually gave up too 😊
That's fishing! 👍
Love the content of your videos, it's helped me alot, just outta curiosity, what days / times do you think you'll go to the Houston fishing show.??
Did you repair the blue kayak or just retire it.Enjoyed to see you catch fish in even in the hard condition of winter. Thanks
Do you ever go fresh water fishing ? Hunstvile state park has a cool lake or Lake Conroe
I used to but now I concentrate my efforts on the salt.
The barge looks extremely intimidating from your kayak.
I wonder if my salty hundo will have the same problem. Haven’t used it in the cold winter weather yet.
Mine tapped out at 43° I’m now carrying a spare baitcaster setup just in case.
Come fish Louisiana sometime man!
Maybe someday 🤙
I've caught Flounder under that bridge
My Cousin's neighbor, put his Jon boat in at Hall's bayou,he fishes for Redfish around the end at Hall's Lake

I have a 110 ah, I’ve never managed to kill this one on the water yet.
What rack system do you have on the back of your truck? I would like to do something similar.
