Mark such an awesome video,I am jealous.gonna be out myself in the morning in our little marsh in Palacios, Matagorda Bay and giving it my best.what an awesome day you had.Tight lines Brother
Just started watching you. I also was a Marine. I am coming down to Surfside the last week of November for my first coastal fishing trip. I hope I can figure it all out and catch a few fish.
Had a two limit day of reds yesterday in a new spot. Went out at 1:30 fished till 6:30 on a falling tide it was good not to mention the school of trout I ran into with birds diving on the way back.
It look like Drum Lake. You can launch at Drum Lake.and explore miles of marsh. There also a good spot call Salt Lake in Lake Jackson. Both have a nice kayak launch.
Andrei, I just realized what you meant by “speed clips” 😅. My apologies for thinking that you wanted me to shorten the footage. When in all actuality you harmlessly meant for me to start using a speed clip.
Give this channel a Netfilx series ! Adventures with MDLR

I live in Seabrook. Where do you go to launch for those flats? I'll be doing the Galveston Lagoon this weekend.
I publish reports on my Patreon. The info you’re seeking is in them.
Is your motor rated for salt? If not what do you do to take care of it?
Yes, it’s a saltwater rated motor.

@ thank you
Why don't you use the EPDL often?
I use it for longer trips. When I have to go 2+ miles to get to the fishing grounds.
Nice work out. No need for weights when you have behemoth reddies
You're right, the bigger the redfish, the less time you need in the gym. 😂
You are using 12lb freshwater leaded line ?
15 lb fluoro leader
@@MDLRFishing thanks for the info . You killed it in this video ! Good work.
