I like the single locking carabiners for rigging. The pirate shape is very rope friendly. I hope Rock Exotica makes them available. One of my favorite biners for the end of the rigging line is the single locking Big Dan. The quick lock opening saves a lot of frustration, especially with new groundies. The molly is a great idea.

Always used your 'new system' for years. I tried your 'old system ' but havnt got on with the back lock on the carabiner. Only difference is I don't have the band holding the sling in place.

Been waiting for this to come out August. I’ll be picking one up from ya here in the spring time. Lot of pines here in Michigan next to fencing and what not. The speed line kit I’ve been using is super custom I.E. homemade. Lol. Be nice to get the real deal and review it on my channel.
I like the new kit, we love the clip style because my main "branch manager" admittedly has difficulty with the triple locks. I think this is a good compromise of security and productivity, I think Melvin would find them as simple as a clip. Even though you have done tons of zip line filming, would you consider a long boring drawn out raw zip line video? I know that as I employed this process I realized how much forethought goes into it. Also easier to replace the sling on the new Rock Exotica carabiners as they don't have a captive eye like the Edelrid snaps in the old kits. Nice one August.
Saw and tree nerds Excellent adventure. Great kit did tree cutting residential myself for a bit. Was a pain running the rope up and down for each branch. Question though does every body have a headset that u talk to on your team to let them know a branch or top is coming down? Also with those kits get your logo put on the caribenner and straps just keep that visual advertising going :)

Two things. I chuckled a little when you were talking about the non locking early in the video and you flipped it over almost out of habit to clip one going each way while saying it wasnt the most secure thing out there. And two is this the same property where that big oak tree was? That's just the curious observer in me.
I just had a good idea (might help you might not). I noticed at the end (great video watched it all) that there was two options 10 for $250 and 20 for $450. It might be in your best interest to offer an additional 10 slings and clips no molly no case to effectively upgrade the guy who couldn’t afford $450 off the hop. Could add $200 instead of $250 saving the fella $50 buying separate and this way allowing climbers to have the kit before they are fully able to afford the large deluxe kit. This way in the end everyone will buy a deluxe just in a payment plan so to speak. Just a thought I had. Feel free to use the idea if you like it. I’m just saying for me personally I can afford $250 right away and then down the road once I love the thing I know will want more slings. Thanks for the awesome video ! That top looked scary ! You can't get the same ones. You can make all the kits you want, but those biners are made for us, as are the slings. Lots of stuff out there, knock yourself out. I do.

I don't think we could make our own basic kit for $250. Just 10 carabiners at 25 a piece would be $250! Then you still have to make your slings. Sounds like a great deal
Your kit is really cheap considering here in Western Australia those 4 way safety gate carabiners cost $40 to 45 ea, so if that was made here we would be paying up to $1200 for that kit plus...i use the same type of carabiners..excellent strong make of carabiner

Most speed line carabiners don’t lock at all. I feel like this kit is a good mix of easy to use and secure.

You can't get the same ones. You can make all the kits you want, but those biners are made for us, as are the slings.
