I think Damien needs more microphones. And a teleprompter to go along with them.
While we're at it, lets put some bulletproof glass up.
    Damien for President.

Best Speed-Line kit video that I've seen. The more detail on how things are rigged, the better. Maybe getting the kit for a job that needs it. Enjoying the Monkey Beaver saddle that I got!

Great investment. Pays for itself every job its used on. And its very versatile. I use it in static rigging as well to hook smaller limbs to the larger target limbs. Great for redirecting lines too. Get one.
And the carabiners. Wtf. Their top teir man. I harvest/borrow them all the time for other applications.
Thanks for putting the time in to make it bro.

Wyatt, (if I may) you are part of a great team led by August Hunicke. Unless I miss my guess, they will be regardful of your welfare, teach you good safety practices and all good things about tree and tree work. Pay attention, work hard, do your best and make the most of your opportunity to learn a lot with this great team of guys.

Your poor lad with the burnt hands. Jeff told him to let it go a bit to start its run, and he took him at his word. Brave of him to still break the fall while his hand was burning. I'm going to give August a fail for that one. I still hit the thumbs up, but the lad should been given some guidance about suitable gloves for roping, and a reminder to wear them.

  • @Gigharborbigfoot

Speed-line action is always fun! Safeshock, leaving slack and taking rides lol. For real though, whiplash is no joke! Looks to me like the additional friction at the lower point creates a guessing game. This industry has such an exciting form of education, it usually only takes getting burned or shrekt a couple of times to learn how things work.

Love a smooth speed line removal, good job Jeff👌🏼. I noticed the snap locks have been replaced with twist locks on the speed line kit. Is this a new thing? Ive heard guys talk about snap locks coming undone when twisting round. not seen this personally though . Awsome vid as ever August.

Why would you want to bust yourself up when you've got a crane AND a bucket truck....you just wouldn't. But that big splitter at the end of this vid.. I'd put a couple of 5 ton ratchet straps 1/2 way up it to keep it together to lessen the pucker factor.....and do that one for the fun of it, but I guess you've got nothing to prove.....
