Lexus SC430 Rebuild - Part 06 - Bondo and primer

Time to wrap up the major repairs and get the car drivable so it can be inspected.

I have been waiting! Good work. I know the body shop that did my bodywork had a hard time getting all of those edges/lines curves perfect too. I’m impressed! Can’t wait to see the final paint. Let us know what paint products you use too.

I felt like I was working on a sculpture the way the body curves! I learned a few years ago that painting metallic finishes on cars is beyond my abilities. Therefore, I am going to have a body shop do that work.

I have a quick update coming soon. I've mostly been enjoying the car this summer, so nothing major has been done. With cold weather coming, I'm going to start digging into the car some more to get these tasks finished. I also just purchased a bluetooth module from sc430 mods. I will record the installation process and the results.
