The vans grips are indeed wonderful! I was thinking about them for my Virago, maybe in a more boring color. I think you did a great job overall, the bike looks good and practical to use.
All of it lol, I am able to make modifications but don’t want to just go out and buy parts just to return them.. Looking for a fairing, and also did you upgrade your mono shock?

Basically trying to build club style so any recommendations on a taller shock, a seat similar to the sadllemen, and a fairing
@@fxwllmsandSOPAisbull the t bars are from a company in Oregon called “ Zombie performance “. They did an excellent job and worked quickly. I did not upgrade the shock in the rear. It’s rolling on stock, but I did eliminate the entire rear inner fender that held all the indicators, and tag and such. I put an integrated brake light / indicator combo, and a bobber style plate holder. That cleaned up the rear real well and actually gives it a “ lifted “ appearance like you’d see a performance bagger look. I have not found a company that makes a set for a VT that’s anything close to a saddle man. There’s a few on eBay that are custom jobs that look great. I’m still on a stock seat but have plans to use a local upholstery shop and have a custom seat skin made. The fairing - the fairing was a cheap kit off of Amazon. I wasn’t sure how well retro fitting a fairing was gunna go so opted to go the cheap route instead of running something like a Memphis shades and running the risk of destroying it. Surprisingly enough, the kit from Amazon worked great! No major modifications needed. Took me a bit to piece everything together properly but I’ve actually been really happy with the outcome. I think they are generic Mx style pegs. I found them in a search under “ Honda shadow foot pegs .” Originally I had a gold footboards picked out but ultimately went with the peg style.
Looks really awesome. Especially the new cladding makes it look a bit like a Harley. There's just one thing that definately needs to chance and that's the quite annoying turquoise grips. Doesn't fit the overall picture and makes the viewer crazy. What would fit to the bike also (but that'll be quite expensice) is another painiting. Blue for instance. Imagine blue with silver flames which have more metallic portion than the blue.
Took sooooo long to find someone do this to a vt600/vlx. Thank you bro!

🙏 Thank you! It’s a blast. Got some stuff coming for it before spring! Maybe some updated videos are in order.
Could you help me find the parts? Looking to make the bike better for my work commute
@@fxwllmsandSOPAisbull what parts are you looking for specifically ?

Was it just generic mx style pegs or shadow specific ones? Looking to do the same on my clubstyle shadow

It's funny we have the same motorcycle and mountain bike
Haha that is funny. Gotta have the toys.

Thanks 🤙. Paint is coming soon. Maybe over the winter months when the bike won’t be ridden as much!
