Not only LZ legend but also the ordinary people coming up on the voice stages killing these impossible songs in a foreign language bring those tears to the eyes. I am with you, hundred percent.

Can't begin to tell you how many times I've watched Pierre Edel do this song! The 1st time that I saw him do it just blew me away how cool he was and how he just stood there and totally ripped that song. Still one of my favorite videos.

@@marvinhunt1049 Me too. As an extra benefit, I just HAD to find out who that coach was, the one up and dancing. And THAT is how I discovered Svyatoslav Vakarchuk and Okean Elzy. They are my new favorite band, and I got to see them twice when they toured the US.
They all did Led Zeppelin proud. Its hard to sing rock with true emotion and without strain. Excellent performances.
Led Zeppelin is very hard to sing & most of these people are singing in English which isn't their first language, that's even harder. They all did great, but that first guy from Ukraine nailed it.

I have never seen someone singing led zeppelin on that standard. They are legends.

Yep, he's got some chops. At 1:45 he transitions from high power notes to a soft airy note, that impressed me. It shows a good measure of vocal control. His notes are a little choked & he does overuse his vibrato but he's pretty good, all in all.
The songs are so freaking good that if a singer can pull it off the judges go crazy.
The musicians backing and singers were excellent. This is live!

It's always cool to see these REALLY good musicians play these same grooves and ride the music. Aside from being impressed with their high caliber though it always highlights to me just how mind-blowingly, bar setting the originals really are (ESPECIALLY for the time era they occurred in). Honestly no matter how good, no one can touch the energy, vibe, and pure sexuality that Zepp projected into these grooves. And with all this time gone by, it is truly impressive what they accomplished at their best.
Pierre Edel was great. Love this man’s voice. He can sing any song. Very talented!
Thankfully, waited to the end of the video and was rewarded . . . after a lot of hard triers who were not quite there, the last singer was worth the wait. He was so good.
