BMW E92 320D Service

  • Todays video is a bit different, we service a BMW e92 320D coupe, this a bit far from what I normally do on here and its the first time I've done a service on a car like this. I'm by no means a professional, just helping out a friend.

    Great Video. Could I add its best to leave the sump plug off while you pull the filter, this is because the filter has a drain plug built into its base, so when pulled drops the oil filters oil content into the sump. you can hear the filter oil drop into the catch tank as you pull the filter out. This housing holds about 500mm of oil possibly more. Just remember to add the sump plug before you add the oil! Once you know this you will always start with the filter change first then drain the sump to save time.

    Shouldn’t you be using 0w/30 bmw recommended this for my e90 320d

    my 2008 320D Msport does nto ahve a dipstick like yours

      There’s a dipstick next to the oil filter housing
