Correct, Big12 would add ACC team(s) if that implodes, but they can't add MW teams without losing money, their media partners will not pay enough extra $$$ for G5 schools, and UNLV is taking Bonus money from MW to stay. UNLV stuck in the diminished MW for some time, unless they reject the bonus and go to PAC12.

With the money UNLV is getting, there is a lot of potential to attract the B12 invitation.

Wont happen.. it's in the B12 media right deal that they can't add another G5 school.

Sadly for UNLV, there really isn’t anything attractive about them for the Big 12. Football is historically atrocious, and the only good HC just left. And they don’t really have a large fanbase, especially a national one which is what a power conference looks for. UNLV is a good program and a good brand, but they have years of work ahead of them before they should be considered for Power status

@@noahtepera9776 The only thing they have is Las Vegas itself; it would add to the opportunity of a place to play other than Dallas. But yes, everything else you said is correct. What shocked me is they are not leaving for the P12.. now is there anything amazing about the P12 not yet, but they just watered down the MWC, so staying may have hurt them more than getting away from Boise St.
