    Imagine the car which can last upto 30 years without any single breakdown compare to land rover, bmw, holden, lexus, porche, Audi etc😢

    Still the best... Noblesse oblige!
    There are off-road vehicles and there is their King - TOYOTA Land Cruiser 200!

    As someone who has driven a LC 2006 4.2TD (geez that vehicle was a beauty) and Nissan Patrol 2006 4.2TD (another tank), I wonder how good Nissan’s new Patrol would have been with a diesel motor.
    I may be one of a selected few but I love both Landcruisers and Patrols 👍🏻

      I guess you could say that the Nissan Patrol is a Nissan Petrol!

    Generally speaking! Every time i watch a 4x4 review,regardless what make,the verdict is always the same. " THIS VEHICLE WILL TACKLE THE TOUGHEST TERRAIN" it will not let you down. Then i scratch my head and wonder why a bought a 2016 Troop carrier.

    Funny how Toyota dont put specs on their website or brochures.. i wouldnt either with a 610kg max payload.. if your gonna spend 130k be prepared to spend another 5k on a GVM upgrade.

    • @ianb9028
      @ianb9028 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is, but why? I have the 200 series diesel (2008) model and it has performance to die for. I will be upgrading to a later model soon and wont go away from cruiser. I do a lot of towing of horse floats it is superb for that.

    • @jcpoiuy

      @@ianb9028 Question for you Ian that I cannot find an answer to. I am guessing you are in Australia or at least not in North America. Do these top end 200 series have an option for factory lockers (other than the center which I know is standard). Here in the US we only have one trim level of Land Cruiser. The top end with leather etc. Very expensive. I scratch my head that there is no rear locker and wonder if they get that in other parts of the world. There are two blanks where buttons would be and I wonder what those buttons are outfitted with elsewhere... Thanks in advance!

    I'd want more ground clearance.

    • @karlballistator
      @karlballistator 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can modify it as you wish. The more clearance the less high-speed highway capabilities. LC200 right from factory is a perfect combination of both.

  • @stendecstretcher4983
    @stendecstretcher4983 6 ปีที่แล้ว +10

    This dinosaur needs to be replaced by an all new model.

    • @karlballistator
      @karlballistator 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Is it necessary? LC200 in terms of toughness and road capabilities is so close to perfection.

    • @KrAUSerMike
      @KrAUSerMike 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Second row space isn’t that good, uses fuel like a petrol, and ramp over is average. It is a 4wd, but only just???

    • @MEOxley23
      @MEOxley23 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mr. Cairo I don’t see how you can say I’m clueless when my comments are based on my observations. In terms of major component failure, do injectors count? If the second row is huge I’ll be a monkeys uncle. The floor is so high that sitting back there is annoying. I don’t know, in some respects it is a pretty good car for $50,000. Actually, how much does Toyota rip you off again for this big hunk a metal?

    • @MEOxley23
      @MEOxley23 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      guy proulx based on what facts and what premise? Bit of a nonsense comment really.

    • @MEOxley23
      @MEOxley23 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      guy proulx well, for starters I can spell arse. But leave that aside, glad to read it is made with a thicker windshield - probably as thick as your rose coloured glasses? Anyway, even if it was designed to last 25 years, amazing how many parts get replaced on these things to help them get to 25 (if they aren’t written off in the meantime). And, getting to 25 doesn’t mean it’s worth anything at that point. Depreciation in these vehicles is getting worse.

    • @MEOxley23
      @MEOxley23 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      guy proulx I didn’t miss any of that. Just don’t see how any of it changes the factual statements about my observations above. But anyway, refer to whatever garbage articles you want - and carry on believing that the brakes will last 25 years, and carry on believing the windscreen won’t ever get shattered by rock, steel or meteor, and while you’re at it, keep up the faith. You’ve certainly got more of that in a vehicle than anyone I’ve ever met before. Do you still believe in the tooth fairy too?

    • @MEOxley23
      @MEOxley23 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      guy proulx mediocre try. Nothing you’ve said changes the fact of my observations. But keep up the solid educational tantrum like carry on if you want to. Keeps me remotely entertained.
