Another great song that features piano is "Butterflies & Hurricanes" and you should do the live video from Wembley Stadium, 2008!! You will be blown away by the total PROG vibes of the song, along with some Classical music-influences! Check it out!

The amazing and mind blowing thing about this band is that their current roles are not what they started as.Matt was a geeky self taught guitarist/Pianist at age 16 not interested in vocals doing Michael Jackson covers until Dom who was playing guitar/vocals in a band recruited him so he could concentrate on drums.Matt suggested Chris Wolstenholme join the band as he was the only other person at school who could play an instrument but it was the drums????Dom persuaded Chris to learn bass and the rest is beautiful, hypnotic, mosh out briliance.

Matt plays piano in quite a lot of their songs in the studio however on stage they have always had a 4th member to pick up the keys parts whilst Matt focuses on singing and guitar. He still plays keys on stage for a few tracks. Such an amazing band with over 20 years of brilliant back catalogue to mine. They are also stunning live so it’s always well worth checking out the live vids on YT. Still going and still killing it on their most recent tour.

One of the highlights of their debut album. My favorite is Showbiz. I'm not totally sure if one of the higher pitched noises at the end is Matt's voice - there are a few songs where he will use his voice to almost sing a lead guitar part above the guitar part he is playing (end of showbiz, intro to knights of Cydonia are 2 other examples of this).
He's a brilliant pianist, the go to song for some is Butterflies and hurricanes, but I like the total madness of Space Dementia, and especially the cacophony with which it ends, and of course. Exogenesis is a masterpiece, but with few live performances.
