Thanks for your videos. I live in Southern NJ outside of Philly and believe it or not I have a good Zoysia lawn ( I don't mind the late spring green up or early fall dormancy). It's always hot & humid up here in summer and my lawn always does well compared to all the KBG lawns. My father-in-law had Zoysia up here starting 70 years ago and ALWAYS had the best lawns. Using your videos I'm kicking it up for sure!!! Thanks again...
Glad to find your channel. I've been looking for a Zoysia dedicated channel as I sodded my backyard with Empire Zoysia in early March (St Pete, FL). Looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
I realize this video is 3 years old, but I just discovered it. I have a question in reference to the rate of the Abamectin. I know you said 1.5 oz per 1000. In another article from the university of Florida, it recommends the same product to be applied at .28 oz per 1000. I am treating 30,000 ft. of common Bermuda. Their rate varies greatly with what you applied. Just trying to figure out what would be better. At your rate, I would use 45 oz for my square footage, and their rate I would only apply 8.4 oz. I don’t mind going the higher rate if necessary. What are your thoughts?
@@NCGrassPlugs thanks so much for the reply! I’m going with your rate. Tired of dealing with these mites. I actually do weed control and fertilization for a living. But I had never dealt with these things until this. I have applied the Abamectin twice, but at the lower rate.

Yard looks good Paul. Hope you're doing well after the storm. 👍
Storm was nothing....2 hours of clean up and I was done.

I had no idea of the possibilities of mites. Really good to know.
Hope to see an update on the compaction dry area.

I don’t remember if that was label rate or if it was a recommendation from a lawn care professional.
