  • The face-lifted 2019 Ford Ranger PXIII has seen engineers tweak the suspension and improved active safety kit fitted, but the big news is that you can get the Ranger Raptor's 2.0L bi-turbo diesel and for a lot less money. My 16 plate uk spec seat base split showing the cloth it’s made of not leather
    With the higher wheel arches you could see the rust coming through on a one year old truck
    Ford dealer in Nottingham said the chassis has a ten year warranty rusty or not and would not treat the rust
    Fords dealerships are thirsty to get your cash but argue with you for warranty work to be completed

    Well I'd love to own one but Ford Australia I'm told, seems to let it's customers down, in regard to issues one may have with it's vehicles...

    We have a 2018 Expedition. This new 4x4 system is terrible. We just got 9 inches of snow. Now, I have driven a ford truck or expedition for the past 20 years and have NEVER had a problem driving through deep snow, ice, wet environments. I drove my new expedition on a street I normally would have in the past and nearly got stuck several times. Not having the 4 low option is detrimental to driving in these conditions and this "Auto" change to the current conditions does not work! FORD-please bring back the old system!!!

    Can you elaborate more on how to activate the auto parallel parking system?

      Just got a 2019 Wildtrak myself and the park assist is very simple to use. Stop just before the space you want to try and get in to. Select the park assist button and then slowly drive past the space until you reach the next vehicle. The touch screen will then tell you if the space was sufficient and if so, it will tell you to place the vehicle in reverse. The vehicle then takes over the steering whilst you still operate the accelerator and brakes.

      @@xj358 Does it also work in perpendicular parking?

    • @xj358
      @xj358 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@juneradbutil2274 From what I understand, it only works on parallel parking. If you were to drive past a space that required perpendicular parking between 2 other vehicles, the system would simply decide that there was insufficient space as it only looks for a parallel length to reverse in to. I would also like to add that unless someone really struggles with reversing, it's actually much quicker to do it yourself rather than setting the vehicle up to park itself.

    Its interesting no reviewer what so ever does mention fuel consumption?!

    • @PracticalmotoringAu
      @PracticalmotoringAu  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Alessandro, Dan did actually talk about fuel consumption in his rough cut but for some reason I cut it out of the video. At the launch he could only have talked about claimed fuel consumption, though. We'll be testing the new Ranger soon and will provide a real-world assessment after that.
