Thank you for letting me relive my adventures through you, I'm house bound now thanks to being on dialysis and I miss throwing on the swag and heading off so much. Keep them coming mate and by the way love the Dundee shir one of my favourite places
Thanx for such enjoyable show to watch. Just love these to get ideas to take my family once I (finally) gets a 4wd. Keep it up, so glad I stumbled on this episode.
Great video. Really enjoyed watching this. Down to earth and as someone else said "without all the theatrics" and nonsense you see in most TH-cam videos. Please keep this channel going!
I've watched a lot of video's on youtube, and this is amongst my favourites. Love my country, and you have presented it in such an excellent way. Love your videos, would love to see more.
Great video mate! Awesome to hear your yarns about the sights on the way, I'm a kiwi and your selling the Australian outback pretty well! Trips will be had! Good attitude mate good too see someone so positive and frothing! Keep at it!
Certainly makes a fella want to cross oceans from Canada to come and explore down there. No other place tickles my fancy quite like there. Thanks to you and some of the 4wd Action team and that Ronny Dahl fella for making your wonderful country the envy of every 4x4 enthusiast around the planet! Cheers and if i win the lotto up here I will be coming for a visit!
I live in Slovakia (EU) and really want to go to Australia. Not just nature, but also trucks like Ecomuse and Dirtythirty and trips you made make my dream to go there bigger. so I fullfill my visions thru your channel. Good job, thanks a lot for that what are you doing
Graham I've been watching you since you joined 4wd with Roothy years ago and mate that is the videos I love when you are passionate about it no insane crazy stuff just touring and history. I loved the video thanks for it! Good to see Shorty back at home!
Top video Graham! I loved it and as someone who has done the trip many times, I really appreciated being able to revisit things such as the Eucla telegraph station and jetty. Loved it! Can't wait until the next time I'm out there - even though the last time was only three months ago!
Mate have been watching you on 4wd action and found your channel just watched the first episode and some of the places you pulled up at my wife and i gad also pulled up at brought back so many memories and set the clock ticking so that we get back out there and explore what we have here in Australia. You’re an absolute legend
Bloody loved this video Graham! Love shorty and brings back memories when i travelled across the Nullarbor in 2008. Can't wait to do it again! I know you're flat out with 4WD Action now but love your solo videos too mate! Cheers.
Just awesome Graham. I flew over to perth at the start of May to help my mate (who just moved to Melb) drive his Pajero back so I really appreciated this vid. The only down side is we didn' have enough time, nor the knowledge, to check some of these really cool places out ! thanks champ, theres always next time !
I've been a fan of yours for a long time and always enjoyed the 4WD Action videos, but seeing you in this more natural style is actually waaaaaaay more entertaining and fun to watch. I hope you keep going this way and making these videos on this channel. Thoroughly great fun to watch and nice to see you untethered from a production team to just say what you think and feel. Awesome work Graham. Looking forward to seeing where you go with this channel and seeing Shorty back again soon!
Excellent Vid I drove that highway for many years in trucks and never tried of it. Always enjoyed the drop off at Lake Cowan and the run through the Basin. Great to see you still making great Australian Videos.
Awesome vlog man...could we see a little around your homestead sometime before you go off on a adventure?...garage looked cool...bloody long trek though...glad you made it home in one piece...
Great Drive. Iv watched this episode many times since it posted. I set off in 2 days Now I have it playing as I do the last packing of my house before I leave 20yrs of WA.
My favorite memory crossing the Nullabor wasn't the drive. We stopped off the side of the track one night about an hour out of Baladonia Roadhouse. My dad told us to look down at the ground and he turned off all the lights. Two minutes later he said, "look up." You've never seen so many stars.
Went across the Nullabor and back July, August last year. Great trip and stopped at Eucla and saw Old Telegraph Stn and some of the things you showed. Love looking at the escarpment between Eucla and Madura and agree with you about it being an old sea bed. Can't wait to go across thee again. We are from Wagga Wagga NSW. Cheers mate great clip you did.
Mate I love your videos, keep it going. The wife and I are planning a year around OZ in a 69 series dual cab. I am getting some great drives from your videos. Thank you
great 29.22 mins, something I would love to do is drive from 1 side of OZ to the other. the best bit was at the end when you said you are 99% sure we will see Shorty again. really enjoyed..
Watching this again, I sure miss seeing Shorty! I completely understand the need for sponsors, but it sure is nice to see you just out exploring and showing us around with no agenda, just for the fun of it!
Thank you Mr Cahill for making TH-cam video. Onehung love watching your video tape. One day Onehung hope to trade in camry get proper vehicle for 4 wheel driving. Maybe can afford great wall if do extra shift at laundary. Last time go camping with uncle Ho he get angry when camry get bogged. He beat poor Onehung badly with stick. Maybe no go camping with uncle Ho no more!
Graham. Top effort mate!!!!! I know you're incredibly busy and on the road so I really appreciate the solo effort you've made with this clip. I'm looking forward to any future updates. Love how you mentioned stats at the end. Great music as well. I've watched it too many times already and yes, I and will again. Hope to see you at a 4WD show or on the tracks. Cheers
Fantastic video, what an awesome trip. I liked that it was very unscripted, great soundtrack, great work. I’d love to see you do more, keep this channel pumpin!
Love this one Mate. I have only driven sort of this way once on an extended work field trip. I went from Canberra to Tibooburra. Then down to Parfield, across to Eucla. I then swapped out in Kalgoorlie while the vehicle went on to Carnegie station and Derby. It then headed back east via Mount Isa where I jumped back in. Finsihed off driving to Maryborough and back to Canberr. Sadly the only extended dirt we saw was Broken Hill to Tibooburra and back. But it was fun none the less. P.S. We will soon be doing the same trip so might see you out on the tracks
Koonalda used to be a fuel stop in the old Eyre Highway days run by the Gurney Family. A lot of those cars are ones that died on the old Highway. Members of the Gurney family are still found in Coorabie back east .
Oi Graham..nothing wrong with our South Australian air!! Great vid mate. Keep them coming. Its good to see you outside of the dvds..youve got a fair following on youtube..must be doing something right!!!
You are a ledge Graham, love your work... Well love where shorty takes you... Oh and hearing swear well that’s something different lol 👍🏾 Keep up the good work... Def would love to come for a trip some time...
That was awesome Graham, I drove from Perth out to SA then north and back round to Perth last year and it was brilliant. Norseman is a great wee place, we ended up back there for a night after my old Rodeos fuel pump packed in just 20k's from Madura so we got to drive the longest straight 3 times, yey. Can't wait to do it again and see more of WA and the rest of Australia.
OMG! How enjoyable was this video..? Bloody Excellent!! Loved it. Love shorty too, she looks a beauty & a keeper for sure :) Hubby and I are driving across from Sydney, (via Nullarbor) across to WA, so looking forward to it. Awesome tips you gave on the way, hopefully we can do some of those stops you've recommend & I remember not to pack the honey in ...lol. This will be our first time traveling like this (cross country), normally we're just city drivers (good ones at that ..lol), though have ventured out that little extra into the next states (Vic & Qld) but only via main roads, no off road stuff. Now that we're older, we want to venture out more while we're still young *wink* :) Sad thing is, we won't be camping, my poor old body wouldn't take it :( Kind of wished we'd done it years ago now... but I'm sure we'll enjoy it, just as much as any traveler. Thank You for sharing this video with us all, I truly enjoyed ever second of it, now off to watch more of your Videos :)
Being a 'pom' I love to hear about your history, for me those sections of your vids add a lot more interest. I find it strange when I see others comment that your youth today has been taught that your history is 'a bad thing' (My Day). To me teaching the next generation not to respect the past is an insult to those that made the country what it is today. In the case of Oz that means the Anzac's and all they achieved the world over is tared with a bad name. Your education system needs to learn to respect your history and be grateful. Then maybe your historic ruins will become respected monuments and youths will be volunteering to maintain them instead of defacing them. Grate vid, and as always grate commentary. Long live shorty :)
I don't know what it is that set y'alls videos apart from other Overlanding Vids, but its awesome. Keep it going. We love how you all have such great laughs. Keep it going Graham. Cheers from the Yank in Utah Mike
Graham, Had a job along the optic fibre line from Adelaide to Perth. We travelled the old and new Eyre Highway, and in turn up 60 k's off them to reach our work site. We only had mud maps from the Blokes who had installed it years prior to. Some hard 4X4 driving to get through it all. Driving over lakes that were supposed to be dry (not). The beaches as you mention are fucking unreal. Driving along them for miles blew me away, not having been there before. If your from the southern states maybe do the Nullabor before the Cape. Cheers
Graham, I've got a few comments... I absolutely loved this video as the Great Australian Bight in my opinion is the most spectacular stretch of coastline in all of Australia and I truly do love the Nullarbor. I did work placement over at the Head of Bight Whale Viewing Platform near where you stopped. One of the locals told me about Koonalda and I visit there every time I pass through. I pronounce Koonalda without the 'L' (somebody will correct me if I'm wrong), so Koon-auda. That whole entire coastal area from Ceduna to Esperance is very 'soothing' for me, in that no problems exist in my life if I am over there. This is the kind of touring/4wding that I'm really interested in, not 4WD Action (I stopped watching a while back). In 4WD Action it feels to me like you're always taking the most extreme tracks and trying to get stuck, hence the rollovers, long recoveries and broken vehicles. In this video, you get out to some truly beautiful places mostly without using 4WD at all. In this video, it's all about the scenery, the history and the journey- your 4WD is there if you need it, but you didn't. In 4WD Action, I feel as though it's all about lift kits, 35" muddies and lockers and not so much the destination. That's just my 2c...
Thank you for letting me relive my adventures through you, I'm house bound now thanks to being on dialysis and I miss throwing on the swag and heading off so much. Keep them coming mate and by the way love the Dundee shir one of my favourite places
love coming back to these old video's , Graham you are one amazing and entertaining person.
The D-Max is a fine rig with its whiz-bang electronics and gizmos, but Shorty is iconic to you, and a real bit of class.
Thanks for taking us on your trek, mate. Liking the raw presentation style! 😊
Good one Graham, but ya better get Shorty in front of the camera soon, hate that Dmax..have one for me..
I've watched a lot of video's on youtube, and this is amongst my favourites. Love my country, and you have presented it in such an excellent way. Love your videos, would love to see more.

Another awesome video and spot on about the graffiti. Well done.

your a ripper graham long time fan keep up the the great work mate Cheers
Vey enjoyable, you should definitely do another, 100%👍🏻
man that trip is one of my bucket list items. one day... Nice mate, I enjoyed this vid
Graham, Had a job along the optic fibre line from Adelaide to Perth. We travelled the old and new Eyre Highway, and in turn up 60 k's off them to reach our work site. Top video, I saw Shorty in Cairns at Justin's workshop. And it looks like u had a great trip with her again.
great video Graham.. and I like the saying at the end.. cheers mate
Would love to see more videos of what you do when your not filming for the DVD, love it, keep up the good work mate
i wish this video never ended, true aussie spirit well done
Totally agree with that saying mate. Keep up a magnificent work buddy. Love ya trucks love ya work man
Hey Graham, I found ur first video, yay! Can't wait to see the rest. Cheers mate.
I did the trip over the plain in October last year. Think I need to go back and do it again, take my time a bit more and catch the sights
Great video mate, loved it and hope you do some more soon.
Been across the Nullabor 24 times both ways. Never tire from the trip.
Awesome video ! I’ll definitely keep this track in mind.
That was so good Graham. Really enjoyed that!
As always , you do a good job of this and I enjoyed it
Graham, I've got a few comments...
I genuinely enjoyed this little film! you should do the more mate, you have the skill for it! cheers
love ya work mate . you should do more of theses little movies
How good was this ep, crazy times we have atm, hopefully we get more gold like this soon 👌
Thanks for the great vid mate 👌 Keep 'em coming!
Love watching these videos!
